I think the biggest question here is how does he time travel? In 06, Mephiles is the one that brings Silver and Blaze into the past. Even if Silver has a chaos emerald on him, it took Sonic and Shadow together to make a portal when escaping the future. It's all too confusing.
So there are two ways and both are op as shit in the archie comics he said to use chronos control this pulls him out of the time stream allowing for him move in and out of different timelines the other way is that in idw his chaos control is so powerful he can travel through time without the emeralds (there's a warp ring involved but we aren't sure on the correlation) the thing about both versions is silver as become a paradox, a time anomaly not affected by changes in the timelines always having his memories of the old timeline so yeah that's why silver is a busted ass character motherfucker is op
So everytime Silver travels to the past implies that Sonic and his friends lose to a villian so bad that it impacts the future and Silver has to save them everytime?
@@elbasado481 Eh, more like Anti-Villain. If he ever went dark it would probably be because he genuinely believes that killing Sonic and Eggman off is the only way to guarantee his future is safe. No villain to cause trouble. No hero to let the villain walk away.
Well then...first off, I love the voice narration...second of all I guess the time travel is on an everyday basis since things go wrong everyday 😅. IDK personally...but thank you for another awesome video, RandomGoon.
Perhaps like the Doctor; specifically Classic Era, he actually likes going back to the past and hanging out. Like a less vain Booster Gold. Maybe he’s a nobody in the present or as seen in the Archie Comics, it’s a future he isn’t content to be in and finds Sonic’s period more to his liking.
What the FUCK qualifies as "the past is in danger"??? How much has Silver had to save, and why hadn't he saved some things before if he could have just travelled later in? Like let's say after the events of 06, why didn't he go back further and fix, I don't know, maybe Maria's death? Even if it is random for him, whatever is controlling the time portals should be saving more than just starting with 06.
Honestly I think the portals show up at random cus in IDW he’s still in the past but he has no idea why and because everything’s peaceful in both present and future he’s actually really upset and confused about it. We have no idea how he goes back to the future anyway… TLDR “the past is in danger”= plot demands him be present
@@pipopiipo I like to think that the portals just randomly pop up next to him whenever he's needed in the past/future, like the universe is just telling him, "Hey man, the world in the past is in immense danger and your friends are about to die. Gonna go help?".
@@DaCrazyPurpleBiscuit I knew it was time stones or time crystals I couldn't remember but my brain went to- its probably time crystals because they look more like crystals then rocks
There is an article in the Sonic Comics encyclopedia explaining how Silver time traveled. The says:"Silver uses the Orange Time Stone to travel through time. Due to his constant time-travel, he has become "decoupled" from time. This means that every time he returns home he remains unaltered by the events he changed and must re-learn the history of Mobius each time. This leads to a lot of his confusion.".I know the Archie comics aren't canon, but that's the data we have. English is not my native language so I apologize if there is any mistake.

"Oh no I've gone cross eyed"
It's inconsistent, but nothing that a good storyteller can't fix
Yea and, Shadow and Silver both went to the past.

not only that, how does he even know Sonic? 06 was erased, and he never even met them. Blaze got Rush dedicated to her, but Silver is just here
So everytime Silver travels to the past implies that Sonic and his friends lose to a villian so bad that it impacts the future and Silver has to save them everytime?
Damn, the Olympics must be brutal for Sonic and co.
Pretty much
The Future Trunks theory
I’m certain that every time this happens, Silver becomes a little more tempted to just kill both Sonic and Eggman so he can be done with everything.
Yea but Sega is too much of a pussy to let that happen. I'm starting to think if Silver would do well as a villain

No villain to cause trouble.
No hero to let the villain walk away.
@@rodrickgoldberg2324 brooo like Surge
For me Silver is much more like a counterpart to a character ala Trunks with the Terminator narrative, underutilized, like Blaze
Silver with Surge’s philosophy would be an interesting take. No more Sonic, no more Eggman, so that everyone can relax
Silver when entering the portal at the end (very distantly): *”OH MY GOOOOOOOOOD”*
So like, is the future normal and then one day he wakes up and its just crisis city suddenly?
Well then...first off, I love the voice narration...second of all I guess the time travel is on an everyday basis since things go wrong everyday 😅. IDK personally...but thank you for another awesome video, RandomGoon.
He can time travel because he is cute.
It always comes down to the ending...
Literally anyone: *Moves a chair*
Silver: *gets yeeted back to the present* goddammit what happened this time?
"Even he can't remember how"

Meanwhile Silver in the end of the video : GUAHAAAAAAAAAAAH
Ah... Comedy
Silver sometimes makes Knuckles look like A Genius
0:36 Buddy did you forget you can float 🤨
But there are moments where he's just hanging out casually in the past. When there is no danger

Every time Eggman knocks over a chair, Silver gets a free skydiving lesson

He probably doesn't know about her death; I doubt anyone has ever straight-up told him.

well, messing with the timeline doesn't always lead to something good
Sonic: Oh hey silver! Good to see ya buddy, how have you bee-
Silver: (SLAP) Stop F×CKING UP THE FUTURE!
It was stated that he used the time stones from little big planet to travel. The method chrono control.
It's little planet, but little big planet is a masterpiece
Jajajajaja, silver screaming at the end 😂😂😂
I like the idea silver has the time crystals
Time stones.
