Thank you SoundTraxx and George!!! Thank you Thank you Thanks you I love it My 70 year old shaking hands thank you I will be ordering several of these Merry Christmas
I wanted to revisit this video - I love the TSU-KN1. When will Sountraxx come out with more N-Scale replacement/plug and play decoders for Kato or Atlas narrow bodies for example?

Nice to see another manufacturer getting in the N scale sound market. I saw the title, I was like “awesome” , then it was just for kato models, I was like “ bummer “. I would be willing to try one, but it needs to be for narrow hood units from Atlas, like the GP 40,30,35,38-2,40-2. Also the SD 7/9 and GP 7/9. Hopefully those are not too far down the road. I love the sound in my current locos, along with the Proto Throttle running trains is fun. Greg

G'Day George Very nice , very nice indeed. It will also be handy for those very small HO shunter's that I have, they usually have no room inside to swing a cat so an even smaller Sound decoder is a very good thing! Have fun, take care.

No this decoder uses the same manual as all of our other Tsunami2 decoders. We do not have a reference for every sound used on every locomotive. Unfortunately we simply do not have the time to do this. You can usually find this info on a quick google search of your loco. We also have some airhorn history references on our website: soundtraxx.com/reference/choosing-the-right-diesel-sound/ or here: soundtraxx.com/reference/locomotive-airhorn-usage/ If you get really stuck you can contact our support department for advice on which sound to choose, but when in doubt choose the sound you like the best! Hi George is SoundTraxx thinking of making a sound decoder for Atlas Narrow Hoods like a GP38 40 SD35 SD50 Alco Century 628 or 630? I always hoped SoundTraxx would come out with a plug n play sound decoder in N Scale.
We are happy to join the N Scale world! We will have more decoders for this market, but we are not ready to announce which ones will come next yet. If you want to make sure you get our announcements when they are ready sign up for our newsletter: soundtraxx.com/newsletter

We don't have an exact date that they will be in your hobby shops. Check with your local retailer for that. They may be available on our website as early as this week. If you want to make sure you get our announcements when they are ready sign up for our newsletter: soundtraxx.com/newsletter
Maybe, but I am not familiar with the model enough to say yes or no. It’s designed as a board replacement for the Kato light board, so it may be able to be done, but I cannot say for sure. You can contact our support department with more info on the model and they can help you: support@soundtraxx.com
At this moment, we do not have any smaller versions, so you'd have to install it in a trailing boxcar or dummy unit and have wires run between the units. Alternatively, we do sell the 220 uF capacitor separately (810128) that you can install it where it fits to add some more stay alive capacitance. However, we are always cooking something up, so you never know, so be sure you are subscribed here and on our newsletter so you'll be apprised of any new announcements in the future.. Thank you for watching! ~G
That would be an ideal size for the HO Trackmobile! What are the chances of making/ selling them with the sounds and lights for the HO DCC equipped Trackmobile? When they were first released I bought one. I liked it so much I bought two more! Another one for my brewery and another (gift) for a friend. If you need recordings I might be able to help. 0q
At this time, no, but stay tuned for a new announcement coming soon that will make you happy. Be sure you are subscribed to our newsletter. soundtraxx.com/newsletter

@@MartoNscale great!
George, maybe I missed it , but will this decoder have some form of a "CurrentKeeper" ? Looks and sounds like a great product.
It has solder pads to add a CurrentKeeper. We have two CurrentKeeper sized right now: soundtraxx.com/search.php?search_query=current§ion=product

I have 3 Bachman f-9 locomotives in n-scale that were made back in the late 80's, can this be adapted to fit
