When I was student-teaching, the school needed more trumpeters for its band, so they put up a sign that said "Play trumpet - make band great again!" I was in choir, not band, as a kid; I've never played a trumpet; and I voted third-party - but for some reason I found this incredibly funny.

He's playing my fricking model. Yamaha Custom YFB 822. It's a great F tuba that has a richer sound in the deeper registers compared to most other F tubas.
It's shorter, a bit heavier and with a larger bell. It still plays great in the higher register but it takes some getting used to. Would definitely recommend it :p

Love it. He'd be an awesome tuba player, being so full of hot air and all. He'd be especially good at brown notes I reckon. Those really low one's, that make you want to check your underpants. He has that down to a fine art, a virtuoso you might say.
