"Armageddon It", "Foolin", "Hysteria", "Love Bites", "Animal" are just a FEW more Def Leppard hits to keep you going down this rabbit hole... I saw them in '87. For me at just 17 y/o, it was really something to see Rick Allen drumming with only one arm!!! These dudes are legends...for a hair band!! Lol!! Another great reaction. Rock on Bro.....
This was released a year before the drummer lost his left arm in a car accident. The band wouldn't hire a new drummer, instead they waited for him to heal and rig up some foot pedals so he could still perform..
Dude...that's what the 80s was all about. Fecking partay all day every day. Caught up with my ass in so many ways. But here I still am, and amazed I lived thru it. Partying well into the 90s, as well. :O
"Yes" you heard "gunter glieben glauchen globen" on Offspring's "Pretty Fly for White Guy." -- This is where Offspring sampled it from. -- It's the Producer of "Rock of Ages", who got tired of counting off with the standard, '1, 2, 3, 4." So, he made a bunch of fake German sounding words, just as Offspring count off with "Uno, Dos, Tres... -- Anyway, Def Leppard found so humerous, they left in and it's now forever on the album.
Saw these guys in concert in 84 and they didn't disappoint! Another group that never disappointed was Molly Hatchet! Saw them 5 times from 79 to 86. Flirtin with Disaster is a must hear jam! You will not be disappointed! Thanks!
DL was the epitome of the 80s, it was a great time to be alive and enjoying. Except we would have to wait months, or years, to hear the next song from our favorite bands, but it was well worth the wait.
There is just something missing in today's music. Today's music is good, but 80's music is just right. I am a nerd/geek. In high school, I did not get into music. But I heard Def Leppard's "Pour Some Sugar On Me" and I was hooked. Back in 2014, my wife and I, went and saw Def Leppard and Kiss doing their 40th anniversary tour. Two awesome bands in one concert!!!
I have seen them in concert twice. I am in the Pour Some Sugar on me video. You can’t see me but I was there the night they filmed the video. I can even point out where we were sitting.
Def Leppard had fun with the music video + with this song! 😎 Released in 1983. Produced by Mutt Lange. Keyboards by Thomas Dolby. 1982 TD wrote She Blinded Me with Science. Mutt Lange on background vocals. 1981. Foreigner hired Thomas Dolby to play keyboards. Mutt Lange produced the Foreigner album 4 with Mick Jones. Joe Elliott took the words Rock of Ages from The Bible. Rick Allen had 2 arms on this song + in the remainder of the album. Next video: Animal! 🐆 🇬🇧
I love seeing you love this music. We (old farts) had a ton of great music back then. You are 100% right...it's a fun time when listening to Def Leppard.
I have seen our mighty Lepp six times 😂 Only band I love that much to pay every time they get back here to the UK ! One of my most treasured possessions is a bass plectrum that Rick (Sav) Savage threw out into the crowd.. I did a massive dive for that 🤣 Very fun live, they have such a huge catalogue of music that they drop random oldies into every one of their gigs.. Yep, fun , high energy for sure !! As you listen to their music, you will notice the changes in style, from their beginning 'On Through the Night', ''High and Dry' and 'Pyromania', where they were still unknown to many , and Rick Allen still had his left arm... ..his accident would eventually lead to Hysteria, which blasted them everywhere across the globe!! .. and then their amazing guitarist, Steve Clark , sadly died.. 🙁 So they returned with 'Adrenalize' as a four piece, and after that, they found Viv Campbell !! Viv brought a whole new energy to Def Leppard and has now been with them for 30 years.. Their albums since have been critiqued by people who miss the old sound, who miss Steve Clark, But I love everything about this band.. 'Euphoria' has some amazing sounds and songs, far more modern I suppose you'd say... And so happy that you feel their energy and you like them too 😀
Pyromania was Def Leppard's first platinum album, and this song is a big part of the reason why. It was the second of four singles off this album, and was the one that broke Def Leppard in America and got hair metal on the radio. They also happened to be a photogenic bunch of guys who got big just as MTV was getting big, and with Mutt Lang producing the album, it was the perfect storm. Things kind of went downhill for them after Pyromania, what with their drummer losing an arm in a car accident- which contributed to long delays in getting the follow up album released- and their guitarist & source of their distinctive backing vocals drinking himself to death, you could say they've had it kind of rough, although in spite of all that they managed to stay relevant, but they never quite got back the magic they had in 1983. (When in comes to catching all the bad breaks, Riot takes the prize for being the real life Spinal Tap, but you could make a good case for Def Leppard coming in second)
I'm loving your excitement and enjoyment of these songs. They're hittin' ya. Try Armaggedon It by them. You'll love it It's powerful and those harmonies are especially glorious and driving
Too bad you didn't see the original video that goes with this song because it just does the song justice. Joe has an amazing voice for lead vocals and Rick plays awesome drums for using only his right hand. One awesome group that has withstood the test of time.
Try out "Billy's Got a Gun". I'm in my 50's. We were in our 20's when these songs were all over the radio. Welcome to us old people's toybox!!! There was never a better time for music.
Early Def Leppard song Let it go- the one I heard first, still my favorite. This one is awesome and kinda a rock anthem IMO. 🤘 Rock on ! Oh- subs- do we get into the career of Vivian Campbell now ? So- Ronnie James Dio- that’ll help connect the dots. Enjoy ! ❤️🎼
Def Leppard next reaction: Rock Rock Til You Drop Foolin Animal Love Bites Man Enough When Love & Hate Collide Let's Get Rock Hysteria Billy's Got A Gun Armageddon It
Tell me that album cover doesn't look like the Trade towers and if you listen to the lyrics of the song that sounds like they're talking about burning that complex down
"Armageddon It", "Foolin", "Hysteria", "Love Bites", "Animal" are just a FEW more Def Leppard hits to keep you going down this rabbit hole... I saw them in '87. Def Leppard- Bringing on a Heartbreake live in the round
This was released a year before the drummer lost his left arm in a car accident. The band wouldn't hire a new drummer, instead they waited for him to heal and rig up some foot pedals so he could still perform..
It's always great to see someone discovering legendary bands like this and enjoying it
still so much to find...in the Def Leppard GOLD MINE
Dude...that's what the 80s was all about. Fecking partay all day every day.
Caught up with my ass in so many ways. But here I still am, and amazed I lived thru it. Partying well into the 90s, as well. :O
I'm surprised I'm still alive!! 😃
This song was so badass in the 1980's!! I love it! ❤
Effing spectacular in concert!!! San Diego early 80's!!!!🤟💜🎶🎼🎵🔥🔥🔥🔥

One of my favorite bands of all time.
I saw them a couple of years ago. Still Rockin it like the 80’s. Literally ROCK OF AGES.
"Yes" you heard "gunter glieben glauchen globen" on Offspring's "Pretty Fly for White Guy." -- This is where Offspring sampled it from. -- It's the Producer of "Rock of Ages", who got tired of counting off with the standard, '1, 2, 3, 4."

Was gonna comment this and was like well let me check the comments I bet someone beat me to it 😂
he actually is German, he just combined a bunch of German words, which, when translated, mean absolutely nothing. It means nothing in German as well.
Great song by Def Leppard. Start a fire..Rock on...yeah...Hahaha...I want rock and roll too. lol
next one from Def Leppard - Foolin' .. or Too late for love ... 😎👍
My son is 24 but the first song he learned the words to at 2 years old. Too Late for Love or as he sang it.....Too yate for uve. 😂🥰

Yes they are fun concerts, I’ve seen them a few times!! Next- Too Late, Foolin, Rocket (Rock It).
DL was the epitome of the 80s, it was a great time to be alive and enjoying. Except we would have to wait months, or years, to hear the next song from our favorite bands, but it was well worth the wait.
Most 80's Rock Music, is all too short. Foolin, Love Bites, Armageddon it, Me and my Wine....So Many great ones to choose from
There is just something missing in today's music. Today's music is good, but 80's music is just right. I am a nerd/geek. In high school, I did

Can't go wrong with Def Leppard! You should try Foolin'...Animal & Armegeddon It...
You know the drummer has one arm, he LOST it in a car accident his name is Rick Allen.
Had both arms while recording this album.
I have seen them in concert twice. I am in the Pour Some Sugar on me video. You can’t see me but I was there the night they filmed the video. I can even point out where we were sitting.
Rocket is a good song. Most of the Hysteria album is lit af tbh
They’re still touring. They’re great live!
Bringing on the heartbreak is great
Def Leppard had fun with the music video + with this song! 😎

I LOVE DEF LEPPARD!!! ❤️
Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad? is another great OV. Awesome reaction brother
All Def Leppard Songs are lit, but I’d recommend Too Late, Bringing On the HeartBreak, and for a little less known banger - Women.
I have seen our mighty Lepp six times 😂 Only band I love that much to pay every time they get back here to the UK !

Oh no, I would argue they were even bigger in 1987 with their Hysteria album! Without a doubt!
Let it go as well
Def Leppard - 20th Century Boy
I didn't realize that they'd covered T. Rex
It was on the Yeah album..It's really really good. Did a great job with Hellraiser and Golden Age of Rock N Roll

I forgot about that song. It never gets played on the radio. That is an awesome song.
It’s definitely got the same energy as ROE

The Offspring in their song Pretty Fly for a White Guy took the beginning line from this song, Rock of Ages.
🤟🏼🤟🏼Great reaction 🤟🏼🤟🏼

Try out "Billy's Got a Gun". I'm in my 50's. We were in our 20's when these songs were all over the radio. Welcome to us old people's toybox!!! There was never a better time for music.
