It's amazing to being seeing this stuff so soon...before she skyrockets...she is absolutely fantastic and will take the world by storm without any doubt...great songwriting with a voice to match and the soul that needs to sing...and what a doll...reminds me of Dolly Parton with the dimples...Dolly had lots of soul too...the voice is similar too. Love the natural delivery.
I agree, she will be a worldwide superstar by the end of the year. "Mercy" should have no problem topping many music charts this spring.
Butler HAS a voice! He released two solo albums, the first of which, People Move On from 1998, is a true masterpiece!

I'm a little late to the Duffy party, I caught her on Austin City Limits last week and was blown away by this song. Much better than the album version too.
I've heard "Have Mercy" a few times on the radio, but I'm not sure its the best song to introduce Duffy to the US.
"Rockferry" and "Warwick Avenue" are both much better songs that allow her to really shine.
