Merry Christmas Everyone! Been another great year on the Fill In! Thanks for having me
Merry Christmas mark wish you a very exciting Christmas
MERRY XMAS YOU BLODDY PRAT
Thank you for another great year Mark!! 👊🏼
@@thecyclinggk Thanks for a great year Ben! I hope you can convince mark to let me oil him up!
'Exciting game to watch'...? -Yeah it would've been exciting for me if I was making money whilst sitting at home watching that 0-0 bore draw.! 😂Do us a favour
Would've loved some Arsenal chat lads, probably our best performance of the season so far. Pressed Brighton all game and should've won 4 or 5 nil. First team to stop them scoring too.
Arsenal? How come?
only speak when we draw/lose
Always appreciate Watto’s insights, a real credit to the show
I think people also forgot the fact that Salah booted the ball away after making a foul. No card. Even as a Liverpool fan i though that shouldve been a yellow. The refs really need to be consistent otherwise this dialogue will go on non stop
Always great to see Mark and Ben together. But Ben always mostly stays anti-united, not sure why 😅🤣
Probably to balance the show out I guess or to wind up mark😂
What's wrong with watto
Ben really tries to moan about United over ANYTHING. I'm not sure it's bitterness cos his United career didn't take off. Not sure what his problem is. Talking utter nonsense about Michael Oliver and Dalot. Got it absolutely wrong. Nunez had a far bigger sulk that lasted longer but only a yellow? Why defend Oliver with ZERO consistency.
Ben does have a point about Dalot
Because it isn't a Man United channel. Mark constantly wants to talk about Man United.
I just want to appreciate Luke Shaw performance, Liverpool try to attack that left side, Salah, Szoboszlai, TAA, Gakpo, none of them can have clean pass to the middle, he even help the offense if Garnacho and Rashford didn't played so bad, man utd could've scored
That's his job.
no shit, you praise people for doing a good job.@@TamrielicScholar
If you do your job once out of 38... does that qualify as doing your job? it certainly doesnt qualify as doing a "good" job.@@JackkLadd
@mattvanemden7573 well that's just not true at all is it
I disagree with the Dalot red card. i loved that he showed passion. that's what we've been lacking. And like Mark said... Nunez should of been sent off also.
I mean he for sure cussed out the referee so it’s a bloody yellow then a red bc he was all ready booked so he was sent off absolutely right decision
You get a yellow for dissent this year why is there even a debate about this
@@Do27gg correct, but that means it should be the same for everyone. I agree about Dalot's red clear as day. But Nunez did the same shit and didn't get sent off. all we want is for refs to be unbiased, and have all decisions equal for both teams, which never happens
@@alexistecca408are you a headteacher?
Only thing is that its inconsistent, decision was correct imo
The simplicity of it is, switch the shirts on Dalot and Nunez and it is the opposite one being sent off while the Liverpool player doesnt. They are not making fair decisions, they are pushing for the results they want
Really crying over a correct red in the last minute of the game
How can you claim Liverpool have the refs in their pockets after that spurs decision is laughable. The refs are just incompetent across the board theirs no conspiracy…
@@Do27gg the speed of the second yellow is just not fair, the second red came 2 seconds after the first. not possible to react in time to chill and not react after that
@@JonathanIMPROVE yeah I agree it’s a bit harsh and honestly a pointless sending off but same time the first yellow should have been a warning to dalot. Also not sure what dalot actually said to the ref, could have been personal or something
@@Do27gg not pointless since he is now not available for a game
"It's a slab off" might be the single funniest thing ever said on this show and it didn't get the love it deserved
Dalot did NOT deserve the second yellow and the red card. OBVIOUSLY
But he did 😂
@@alexistecca408no he didn't ffs one yellow is enough
@ahmedkhawaja5376 if you watch the replay, Dalot clearly shows two incidences of disapproval to the refs calls the first one was for the throw in and he got a yellow card and then when he got the first yellow, he then lashed out again. And he got another yellow for the second one.
I agree on Onana’s saving technique. I’ve been flagging it for months how he doesn’t party the ball away from the danger area. Feels like it’s only a matter of time before it gets punished.
And I do feel for Højlund. Imagine telling a 20 year old that he’ll only have one real chance in the biggest game in the prem and it’s on your weaker foot. That’s a different level of pressure. A lot of players do tend to go with pure power when shooting with their weaker foot.
Do you remember Keane, Beckham Scholes, Giggs Neville Owen at 20! He's not a good striker, simple, he would be by now
@@dondamon4669 Those players went into much better teams than the current united side. He has received the fewest passes of any starting striker in the league. All our main wingers are inverted with shoot on site commands. If Højlund was missing loads of chances I would be worried, but he's just not getting good chances because the service is abysmal. I was moved by some of his performances in the UCL. Drop him in the Arsenal or City team and there wouldn't be a problem. The United squad needs significant tactical adjustment to focus on providing for him.
No way is that a Dalot red card. People that say he has to control his emotions, what has this game come to. Football now lacks the passion it used to, and booking players for disagreeing with a decision is just silly. Before you know it, players will get booked for everything
It’s a bs rule but dissent is a yellow this season so the red is fair
@@Do27ggthen where was the Red for Nunez? He only got a yellow for the fault.
@@limi. he just sarcastically clapped, dalot was shouting at the ref
Nunez also kicked the ball away and got in the linesmen’s face. He should have had 3 yellow cards lol your commenting on every comment to try debunk this but at the end of the day it shouldn’t have been a red that’s not given by any ref in any game Michael Oliver had a power trip and should go mange a lower league as clearly his ego can’t handle passionate players at the top level.
@@Do27gghe wasnt shouting at the ref at his face he was shouting at his decision theres a major difference have you never been angry
"Coming down our chimney and filling up our sacks" - BEN FOSTER
u alright mate?😂😂😂😂
Never stop making the Football fill-in, gents! Love from Chicago.
🙌🏼
Also watching from Chicago!
Yes the Nunez and Dalot situations are different. The difference it would have been more fair to send Nunez off.
Lol no it absolutely would not have.. You're claiming he should've been sent over for clapping over Dalot throwing a hissy fit.
@@Joe-uv9jo ‘A hissy fit’, Dalot was right though, it was United’s throw in, and he got the yellow for his complaints, a second yellow is utterly disgusting.
Completely boggles the mind how anyone can think the Dalot red card is anything but petulance on Michael Oliver’s part. The ref is the one who’s lost his head there. Clown show.
You get a yellow for dissent this season, it’s a bs rule but Dalot should have known that
@@Do27gg why has he got a red then? Muppet
@@united4643 quick maths lesson, 2 yellows equals a red bud
@@Do27gghe booked him twice for one incident, watch it back. It’s not hard to comprehend
@@Do27gg you cant be booked twice for one descent. Absolute muppet.
The reality is if Dalot does that earlier in the games its just a yellow. Ref would've just thought 'it's late in the game and won't make a massive impact so your off'
Nahhh a red impacts your next games because he will be out for the game... Red card never works that way unless it is yellow.
Absolute rubbish Ben.
Watch the actual footage. Oliver has the yellow card up before Dalot has even thrown his arm out again. Two yellows within 8 seconds. Pull the other one, mate. Nonsense.
Shouldn't go off at the ref
Great show lads one of the best shows about so insightful 👏
Great episode guys! You guys didn’t cover Chelsea v Sheffield Utd but happy that we are back to winning ways! Need to back it up v Wolves!
Merry Christmas Ben and team. Thanks for all the top content this year 🙌🏻
Merry Xmas lads. I always look forward to Tuesday's.
One thing I've noticed as a Manchester United fan is you can never win in an argument with anybody, it's always either our players fault or the manager's fault never the referees fault. No matter what people say the referee made a dumb decision. If it was Rashford Foster would be saying it was a bad call.
Because the refs have been favouring you for decades and then you guys usually cry about one decision 😂
@@saltyspoon8465 Where's the evidence? And if that's true that was 10 years ago. And furthermore only city fans should be celebrating cause they're the ones winning so if you ain't a City fan doesn't benefit you.
@@frankwango if you watched football instead of crying about it all the time you would know plus every other fanbase would agree with what I stated
Merry Christmas gents! Love the see the villa praise! Have a good un
24:20 marks reaction here can tell Ben touched a nerve
Anyone gassing up Vicario is music to my ears
Surprised no ones mentioned about gundogan being citys downfall this season. Massive miss in the dressing room as well as the pitch when KDB was injured again. Always scored in the big moments.
Also, ignoring how good defensively he is there. Mahrez was always clutch in December as well
@@123kaired 100%
I don't think it is Gundogan alone... But they've sort of failed to fill in for the replaced players which includes A proper leftback and the lack of quality players.
We are not in downfall
the nerves to call "Asian cup" some tournmanet is astonishing , imagine someone calling the European tournament "some tournament"
All 3 of these guys have 0 knowledge outside of the prem and efl, called the club world cup the Saudi cup as well 😂
"Onana has the ability to make every save look world class"
Love the vid keep up the good work man
Thank you!
Arsenal stopped Brighton scoring for the first time in over 20 BPL matches and went top but no discussion.
Yet some waffle about a lucky spud result and calling them title contenders 😂
Can we going to get all/ most game analysis back soon please 🤝
Merry Christmas Fozzie!
Isn’t it mental all the debate around Ramsdale/Reya and yet Arsenal had Martinez for 10 years and used him in the cup a few times.
8:43 - 9:07 Mark's face when he can't believe what he's hearing 😂
I’d have that face too if an absolute nobody was talking as if he’d ever played at that high a level and under that much pressure when every decision could be a match decided
What do you think of Shea Given being on MotD? Love the goalkeeping analysis on this channel and good to see it going into mainstream media with his analysis of the Burnley keepers mistake being the same as Watto's but have they sneakily copied the fill in getting a keeper in?
If you’ve watched Everton for the past two & a half season’s, you know Pickford kept Everton up & out of relegation. Yes he plays well for England but he’s a hell of a keeper for Everton. Just watch him do his thing & come back about him at the end of the season.
By Souness and Van Disney's logic, Bournemouth had more desire than Liverpool, if that doesn't prove arrogance then I don't know what is.
As a United fan, I know I'm biased, but there is no way that should be a red for Dalot. It's the heat of the moment, the ref and linesman have got the call wrong (it last touched Salah), and it's in the 94th minute. Oliver let the situation get the better of him and he's just as responsible as Dalot to control his emotions
Fozzy smashed it on the Quiz, what a man
38:35 - surprised they didn't name James Milner given how recent that happened.
Benny Boy, world class again!
The filling in our sacks quote was wild
Højlund scores that for Atalanta btw. United make decent players drop to the level they’re at.
NO ARSENAL CHAT ?
Incredible how they dismiss Nunez 'petulence'
I can't remember the exact game, but Michael Oliver stayed with his decision after going to the screen, so it did happen once.
I agree with Ben on the Dalot red card. However the problem isnt the decision but the inconsistency
Shoutout to Philip Billing who spotted him down and called the medical staff over asap
Crazy, bissouma almost breaking Yates’s leg is apparently not a straight red and is understandable. Foster hates forest 😂
Come on, Dalot just wanted to make sure he got Christmas off! Genius move
I watch this everytime go for treatment for my illness to get oxygen treatment. It distracts me a lot and brings me great entertainment. Thanks lads 😁
I can’t stand united but that Dalot red card was ridiculous. It looked like the ref gave 2 yellow cards for one incident. These refs trying to get rid of all emotion in the game 🤦🏼♀️ Anyway, merry christmas everyone 🎄 Have a good one 🤩
Nope it was two incidents. Dissent for the call then dissent for getting the first card, two yellows and a red according to the laws of the game.
Baros played for Portsmouth in the Premier league in 2008 the year we won the fa cup get the facts right 😂😂
Need to do the quiz on whiteboard’s so all 3 of them get a chance to answer
How does Mark still think Mejbri was playing when it was Hannibal XD.
Kanu played for Ajax inter and arsenal too
That Jiminez chsllenge was ridiculous that sort of tackle is a red in rugby never mind football. Straight into Longstaffs head, we're trying to stop head injuries.
That wasnt exactly at his head but it was a red he pulled out
Put "Football Fill-In" in the title.
Btw shout out to billing who saw Tom down like that’s and merry Christmas guys
trent keeping quiet at the start to see if he can make an onana in crisis video
Don’t get it twisted we didn’t win because we were rubbish not because United were good
Nunez fouled aggressively - easily a yellow. Then screamed at the linesman - 100% yellow. Then kicked ball away - easily a yellow card. Then to round it off sarcastically clapped the linesman, which is 100% a yellow.
So that’s 4 yellows… and yet Dalot dos nothing but show dissent ONCE and got 2 yellows in 7 seconds. Disgusting referee standards
Classic Goldbridge makes a segment on Jordan Pickford about David De Gea and Onana 💤
How did United do the season after their treble? (Genuine question, too lazy to google)
Why is this not on spotify
what a video
get pickers on the interviews 😂
Nah foster wrong about the red. He genuinely swing his arm two times. One yellow for each arm swing. That doesn’t happen in professional football.
Arteta and pep would choose to sign onana over Allison btw
The problem with the red is consistency. Why didnt nunez get sent off early for something very similar? Why are refs choosing when the rules should be applied?
Who is the 5th team in the title race?
I just think with the dalot issue is oliver didn't give him enough time to calm down. He should have stopped the game and talked to him first, why he will be getting a first yellow. Then it's over. It's like when a person is angry and told to calm down, you're just going to make them more angry.
Did l hear Van Persie 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Arsenal against Brighton, not worth any mention?
i dont think we are in the same league as the big boys cause of the owners we have they have lowered our standards so much why a draw is a great result and i think alot of that is down to varane the liverpool vs man utd game is like a comparison of varane and harry maguire maguire not even in varanes league miles apart liverpool sorted some of there midfield out in one window it shows what a well run club can do where as us run abysmal 2 of our signings where crucial and the other two where a let down didnt need replace gk and mount wrong type of player got a 10 needed a 8
So Dalot showing emotion and a bit of passion regardless of who it's for, is a bad thing. But Martinez grabbing a player and dragging him off the floor is applauded
Idk probably because its maupay and if anything emi should have got a red coz thats violent conduct
Yeah don’t know how that isn’t a red
No Chelsea chat again? 😂😂😂 3rd time this season
Zidane shirt the best by far
Players are not allowed to show emotion anymore and they've given the refs to much of the game to ref they should just worry about the game and not the emotions, some things they should just let go man
The inconsistency is unacceptable and Howard Webb needs to be held accountable for how bad the referees are. He should be chopping out the inconsistency and if there are glaring errors week in week out those referees get demoted.
I think the problem for Man City is just complacency. When you have won the league 3 times in a row and have just had a treble winning season like they did, it is harder to see the importance in playing smaller clubs like Crystal Palace and Wolves
Dalot asked for a Red Card.. And Nunez didn't??? He kept on clapping after the yellow.. Michael Oliver is a cupcake
Ben thats a shocking take ... Dalot if that happens at 60 min its a yellow ... its Oliver saying how can i make the game about me the guy is a 🔔 end .. If refs want respect they have to start using initiative also
Ben telling mark stop being biased 😂
🐐
Rizwan should follow mohammad siraz .....has a lot of similarity.
His batting needs more work too.Indian Manish Pandey could be a role model for him to develop his technique.
No West Ham then once again
The reason for referees giving yellow cards instead of reds at first glance is to be protected. If the ref gives a straight red and they go the monitor its a red card or no card at all
World’s number 1, world’s number 1 Emi Martinez, the world’s number 1!!
I disagree with Wato on his Dalot analysis. At the end of the day Dalot did the dissent and a yellow card is justified not two yellows. Darwin Nunez did the same and if not worse but again I understand that they want to wind Mark up.
Didn’t talk about Arsenal vs Brighton !!! Ben hates arsenal for some reason !!!
No mention of arsenal again, shame!
There is a replay out there showing more angles that show Dalot got the second yellow for the arm movement he was still doing as the ref pulled the first yellow card. He didnt carry anything on and he literally calmed down immediately after he had finished. Watch that video and then if you think it was a red you are a liar
Bit of shorter one today lads 🥲
Do you think the Ref was also heated up in the 90th minute and that caused him to give the red to Dalot? I mean there is so much pressure and I'm sure the atmosphere may have gotten to him too. I don't agree with the red card.
I agree with Mark here, I don't think Nunez deserves a red but also If Dalot got a red for that Nunez definitely deserves a red. It is as simple as that.
Dalot put the ref in an awkward situation because he threw his fist at him for the throw in, he booked hik for that and then he threw his fist at him again so the ref was like 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Not sure about them betting odds for the league 🤔 let me give my pals Ivan toney and sandro tonali a call 😮😮😮😮😮
5 team title race, what a load of bollocks
The player will have learnt something here. And those around him too if they have any sense. Anyone holding an imaginary card up to get someone booked should get a card..it will cut that out.
