Not sure about that, back in 1956 they could put up a pylon in 1 day, in their Tweed n wellies!

Feel sorry for the poor pylon, all its arms waving around like that after having it's feet blown off.
Blaw Knox L6 D30 replaced with an L8 D30’ it had to be replaced with an L8 D30 as an L12 D25 would have been unsuitable for the change in direction.
I was wondering why they didn't choose an L6 like for like replacement, or are all L6 types obselete due to imperial vs metric measurements?
L6 is redundant now I believe’ they’re usually replaced with L12 or the recent L13’ L13 looks like an L6’ L2 is steadily being replaced by L8.
