Marvel Super Heroes (マーヴル・スーパーヒーローズ) is a fighting video game developed by Capcom. Originally released in the arcade in 1995 on the CPS-2 arcade system, it was ported to the Sega Saturn and PlayStation in late 1997. The game, alongside Marvel vs. Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, was also included in the Marvel vs. Capcom Origins collection, released digitally for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in September 2012.
Marvel Super Heroes is loosely based on "The Infinity Gauntlet" storyline of the Marvel Universe. It is the second Capcom fighting game based on characters from the Marvel Comics line, following X-Men: Children of the Atom, and was later succeeded by the Marvel vs. Capcom series.

Juggernauts ending makes me feel bad. All the other villains get what they want but Juggernaut gets nothing
One of the highlights of this franchise, even though it still was a 1v1 game at the time. The excellence and consistency of presentation, soundtrack, stages and art work (portraits, etc) is almost unmatched in the whole history of the franchise. Only XvSF tops it, from the following year.
X-Men vs SF gives me that unfinished game vibe compared to this game, perhaps that's why Capcom tried to fix it with MSH vs SF not long after.

First time the player was able to play as Magneto and Juggernaut without secret codes... a great game!
Thanos' storyline was more well known than the Children of the Atom storyline, it was even more fun to play as Spider-Man or Iron Man knowing the whole plot.
That's one *really* huge fist to punch someone down there! Compared to the other thumbnails, this one takes the cake. 😅

Man, i love this game, it has so much personality and felt so comic book. I say it paved the way for all the marvel vs capcom games.

I lost hopes in a sequel, and even if it existed, i lost faith in the future of the franchise anyway. Because Marvel's face nowadays is not the cartoons that fuel our nostalgia, it's the movies... so that is what is going to be promoted. The Marvel videogames from the 90s used the cartoons to represent the heroes because that's what was being promoted globally by the franchise.

How come capcom never released for for the ps4/X?
Because it's not a Capcom franchise, the release doesnt depend totally on their will. Same for any crossover like CvS, TvC, SFxTK, etc.

I remember you can activate a Special Object atack with active gem and half circle + start button to launch pumpkins and cheeses and if you kill oponent with this the object apear below the life bar 🤔
