This is the third time I watch this film but still like it.

The cinematography in this movie is also so beautiful and not to mention Austin Butlers portrayal of Elvis is spot especially his singing and talking is spot on and the way he just perfectly does Elvis’ mannerisms as if he was Elvis was just amazing. Truly that movie was amazing.
The AsianKid. Austin Butler only sings in the 1950s part of the film (in which he sounds nothing like Elvis, by the way). Everything else is Austin Butler lip-synching to Elvis's actual singing voice. Frankly, I'm amazed that some people think that Austin Butler sang everything in the film but, as I've pointed out, he only uses his own voice in his portrayal of Elvis in the '50s, everything else, the '68 special, the Vegas years, and this performance, etc. is Elvis's actual singing voice, with Austin Butler lip-synching to it.

@@joeblack8915 actually you’re wrong. Firstly , Austin Butler sounds eerily similar to Elvis. If you listen to the That’s All Right screen test Austin Butler did, he sounds almost exactly like Elvis’ did in his original version. Secondly, Austin’s voice was spliced in with Elvis’ for his latter performances. It wasn’t solely Elvis or solely Austin.

Hollywood robbed Austin Butler of an Oscar performance for the Elvis movie. The guy was phenomenal in the portrayal of young Elvis Presley. He didn't just acted amazingly, but also sang the songs. Unbelievable performance! Too bad Austin, we know who really deserved that Oscar.

I have been an Elvis fan my whole entire life and i must say that the movie was fantastic and this ending scene hit me real hard.

Austin convinced me that he was the Elvis, as I was just eight when the King died making wish I had meat him in person. My daughter is seven and I both love all his songs, but Suspicious Minds is our favorite song. We cried during the movie, after knowing he gave his all in everything he did, his voice, his moves, his whole presence is untouchable. RIP King 🤴
Elvis was so sick. He could barely breathe to get the words out. This actor did an amazing job portraying Elvis’s struggle.

Yet he performed better on his worst day than a lot of modern artists at their best.

I was not an Elvis person at all before watching this movie. I didn't hate him or anything, I was just "meh" about him. I didn't care. I watched this, and now I've been listening to him nonstop for weeks. I can't get enough of his voice, of the clips and the photos and the quotes

This is beautiful. It is a crime that Austin did not win the Oscar. When he was performing he WAS Elvis. Such a great job. You can tell all the work he put into this role and to not win an Oscar is just wrong. He did win the Golden Globe and a British award. Those people saw the beauty in this performance. I have watched this move 5 times and know I will watch it even more in the future.

Austin Butler didn't just hit a grand slam by knocking it out of the park. He knocked it completely out of the town and state!
As a kid in the 70s and in to the 80s Elvis was my hero. As time went by I more or less stopped listening to him as music obviously changed. This movie has brought me back to better times and my love of the King has be rejuvenated.
Elvis Presley as a singer and a man will never be surpassed.

I've seen over the years many remakes of Elvis movies. But none really have been this powerful
There were times I thought it was really Elvis in these scenes. It gave me Goosebumps. Austin Butler made me go back to listen to Elvis Presley music 🎶 and I wasn't even born in the 60 or 70 but 80. The best feature movie to be made is this one. I've watched it twice already.
sometimes the spirits of the dead live through ppl.. Phoenix as cash is a great example and the dude that did elton john from Kingsmen- that guy is still alive.. but he consulted the man himself on that. this BS queen remake with that dude that lipsynced over everything was whack Mr robot guy doesnt even remotely look like freddy and sure as hell didnt sing like him

Austin restored Elvis' s health and brought him back to life! It seems incredible, but it happened. He acted and sang Elvis so beautifully and still remained himself, which is the key to the success, isn't it...😉

I've never been a big Elvis fan, he was a little before my time. And with that I never really paid my attention to his work (movies or music). But when I decided to read up on him a bit, I was floored that the man had ZERO musical training of any kind. What he put out was 100% him, no modification, no change, no coaching... And for that to be the case for one of the top artists in the history of the world, that is impressive beyond measure!!!

I found myself crying hearing Elvis sing this song at the end of the movie was so beautiful. Austin Butler took my breath away at how perfect he was at playing as Elvis. I may have never had the honor of seeing Elvis when he was alive i am 32 and might not have no room to talk, but i find myself drawn to Elvis by watching this movie and hearing the music and he has touched this girl's heart.

This scene in the movie is far more emotional. during the song, you are watching the actor then it switches to the footage of the real Elvis which leaves the viewer so emotional.

Austin Butler is one of the most talented actors I’ve ever seen or heard. The way he mouths “I will always love you” makes me cry my eyes out. The emotional pull of this movie is so powerful I can hardly put it into words. But the songs say it all.

I grew up watching Elvis movies and followed him in the 70s. Graceland should be visited by every single person in the world. I have been there 9 times. It makes you have a greater appreciation for Elvis.

Austin did fantastic singing the early Elvis songs and I don't care if he had voice coaches for two years, or not, as another individual had commented. While of course it's no surprise that it was Elvis singing the 60s and 70 songs, such as Unchained Melody, as that's what made Elvis, Elvis. And people who try to tear down Butler for only singing the early stuff, are fools, obviously jealous for some reason, of Butler and possibly even Elvis. As there is no room for criticism here, at all, and yet I've seen a bit of it and I can only imagine it's someone who is not an Elvis fan, which is their loss, but they are using this BS to try and denigrate him, ultimately.
But they lose as Elvis is clearly the most versatile singer to ever live, being able to sing any genre at an incomparable level. As Elvis Presley's voice was extraordinary for its quality, range, and power. With the quality of his voice most often described as soulful. As to me, and millions of others I suspect, his music ultimately had an aching sincerity and an indefinable quality of yearning. Described by music critic Harry Pleasants as having an “extraordinary music compass” he identifies Elvis as a high baritone.
But that doesn’t nearly tell the whole story as Elvis also had an upward extension into falsetto and also a voice suitable for singing great bass and tenor when called upon. He even had the capacity to sing opera with "full-voiced high Gs and As that an opera baritone might envy,” according to Pleasants, and no less than Placido Domingo and Pavarotti considered themselves great fans of Elvis’ voice, with Domingo going so far as to say if he had to choose only one singing voice he could have, it would be that of Elvis.
