Had an 05 that I purchased in 08. Finally let her go after 184,000 miles due to maintenance costs being more than the car was worth. But still one of the best cars that i have ever owned.
@@paulmunday5528 05 A8 has a timing belt engine, the BFM is one of the most reliable engines Audi ever made. So I highly doubt it. Mine has 360k as of yesterday. Must have not been cared for.
Adam Gil I like the entire S line, The 8 is just a lot more car than I need. The A6 that I have is cool. But I drove the S6 and completely forgot about the A6. The Audi's love the highway. I stretched my A6 out on a new stretch of I 295 here in Fayetteville........BLISS!!
Adam Gil OH YES, I was looking at what it took to change the thermostat. That is INSANE, you literally have the take the front of the car off and engine to get to it. I can't argue with making a stash for maintenance....LOL
Benzyny 10-11l w trasie przy normalnej jeździe 120-150km/h i 16-18l w mieście. Wersja FSI pali ok. 1 litr mniej. Gazu spali o 20% więcej, niż benzyny, ale i tak bardzo się opłaca na silniku MPI. Wersji FSI bałbym się jeszcze gazować;
the check engine light is because of the modified exhaust, that's not a stock exhaust note, besides that means it's low on gas not empty. i'm guessing you're the kind of guy to buy a sportscar and drive it like a grandma because poor car?
@@LoekM_02 That's true. Won't hurt the pump I guess to quickly fill up the tank when the light comes on. I looked a little more into it. Besides the fuel pump overheating issue, the fuel filter is exposed for more dirt coming from the bottom of the tank. But I believe this is mostly problematic and relevant if one would drive regularly on a nearly empty tank. Probably wouldn't hurt to drive with the gasoline light burning now and then.
Damn son, that look and that sound... perfection
He's fast asf
At low rpms sounds like a v12

Were the issues related to the engine? What could be so expensive?
