Silicone flower inlay- large turtle mold=Spectacular!

- In this video I will be adding a silicone inlay of a flower to the shell of my large sea turtle mold.
1. first I brushed the inlay with Lets Resin color shift mica powder, saddle brown, mixed up my resin (lets resin casting resin) then poured into the shell.
2. I dipped the flower into the resin to coat it , removed any bubbles and then placed it face down.
3. let that cure.
4. mixed up more resin added colorful stones around the very edge of the shell and then let that layer cure.
5. last layer, which got deleted somehow when transferring from one device to another. I brushed the fins and all remaining exposed areas with a blue green color shift mica by Lets Resin and filled with resin.

Imagine that you were watching Braveheart and during the inspirational speech when he's riding back and forth on his horse, the camera is on the horse's tail. That is how the people who come here to be entertained feel. Or your algebra teacher is showing you how to do a problem but he's standing in front of the chalkboard and all you can see is his back. That is how the people who come here to learn feel. I have never complained but I felt about the same way you must have felt like a child being scolded, for something that I didn't even do.
Sandy, I get it and I think that's why it upset me, I try my hardest to get every little detail in frame and put out a great product for everyone. But sometimes being the director, camera man, microphone holder,editor and actress all at one time is alot to manage and all I want to do is teach you all a technique, but unfortunately there is more to it than that. I just hope everyone sticks with me while I get this figured out.🥰
There wasn’t any part of this filming that you couldn’t see… except for the part of the video that was lost, and that happens, there’s nothing she could do about that.
Everything was easy to see, follow and understand. And, if you’re talking about a previous video, then comment on that video’s comment section, not this one.
It is obvious that she is trying to improve, and she talks openly about it throughout the video… I don’t believe that continuing to badger her about it will help her improve.
This is the sole reason that I haven’t started my own channel… I very much want to pass onto others, what I have learned by watching channels like this… unfortunately, I am not very thick skinned, and I am terrified of those people who only have negative things to say… it’s a real shame.

For me personally I understand when things aren't on camera. I also know why nobody wants bubbles, however for me I think a few bubbles are just fine in sea life pieces, after all water has bubbles. All that to say I absolutely love this turtle. Thanks for sharing, you have taught me a lot

You are giving me ideas for future resin projects, definitely getting the fidget spinner molds, have been getting requests for them at shows. This turtle is gorgeous!!! Nice clors and I love the flower and the rocks and all the colors you picked. Next time you do the inlays, pour less resin (like you said) and wait until the resin gets tacky anf then put them in. You'd have to babysit it, but it would be well worth it. I know I have told you about staying in frame a lot. It is because I am trying to learn from you and part of that is being able to SEE what you are doing. Beautiful! I am new so didn't realize the flower base piece would come out! I work in Polymer Clay and plan to begin using uv resin on some of my pieces but would love to move up to include work like yours someday. I especially love ocean themes. @resinmeup what I was thinking is if you painted the cracks in his shell it might make the flower a little better looking not quite so offset it might take away from it just enough to make it look not so offset is what I mean

Judy, I top coated his shell with UV resin. I did it after the video was complete, I thought about it and decided last minute right before his photo shoot.😂
