I am Spanish so I was very interested in seeing how Spanish dishes were prepared in a Japanese hotel restaurant. All dishes had a strong Asian feel but at the same time they looked tasty and beautiful for a Spanish foodie and brought a subtle remembrance of Spain. Congratulations for another entertaining buffet video, Aya.
For around $32 I think that this is really worth it! Lots of choices, quality of food plus awesome service. Plus its unlimited time. I will definitely try this when I go to Japan. I bet they are going to kick me out for eating too much lol!
Elegant and plentiful - one of the best ones yet! Love the ambiance and selection; has the feel of a Vegas buffet with the charm of a gourmet restaurant
I have never been to the Vegas Buffet, but I imagine it is a very luxurious and nice place. Maybe the Hapuna buffet in Japan is modeled after the Vegas Buffet. Makes me want to go to a Vegas buffet! 😋🥰
@@aya_food_adventures Some Vegas buffets are pretty average and some are quite luxurious, but they tend to be very crowded. This buffet has a classy, high-end restaurant feel and is much more to my liking, although I’m sure it has its busy times as well. Wonderful variety and gorgeous plating especially at 8:17!
The buffet here is very popular. The venue is spacious and stylish, and the waitstaff is very accommodating. The reasonable prices are another reason for its popularity.
Thanks for always enjoying my videos. And I'm very happy with your comments. I will continue to introduce you to various Japanese foods, so stay tuned!☺️🥰
I lived in Spain for many years and travelled all over the country. Tomato sauce is not typical of Spanish cuisine - it’s Italian! Nor is bouillabaisse, which is from the South of France! This reminds me of Chinese restaurants in Turkey, which serve sushi and believe it is typically Chinese 😮
Great cuisines often evolve differently than they originally did in foreign countries. For example, cucumber is used as a vegetable in Japanese sushi rolls, while avocados are used in California rolls, which are very popular in the United States. Spanish cuisine may be brought to life in a different way in Japan!
Before the corona outbreak, all-you-can-eat crab was popular. Unfortunately it doesn't exist now. It would be nice if all-you-can-eat crab was revived.
Shinagawa Prince Hotel's official Japanese website has Sunday dinner reservations. However, it does not appear on the English website at this time. We recommend that you call the following number to inquire and make a reservation.👇👇👇 Tel: +81-(0)3-5421-1114 (Hours: 10:00A.M.-6:00P.M.) General Restaurant Reservations and Inquiries
Hapuna Buffet's menu changes every few months, but offers less typical Japanese food. Sushi is not served at lunch. I will try to find a typical all-you-can-eat Japanese restaurant that I can recommend.
Normally, the time limit is 90 minutes. There is a plan called "unlimited time" until August 31, only for web reservations from the hotel's official page. In case you are interested, we have attached the address of the official Japanese hotel page where it is available. Please check it out. Hope this helps. rsv.princehotels.co.jp/cgi-bin/ihonex/rest/menu_list.cgi?hid=007&tenpocd=01&jikan=lunch
There is not one single Spanish dish on this buffet! 😮 No gazpacho, tortilla de patatas, seafood or tapas!! Is there no Internet and no Spanish chefs in Japan?? 😮
Hi Maria, thank you for your comment. I looked up images of gazpacho and tortilla de patata on the internet. I see that these are authentic Spanish dishes. They look really delicious, but unfortunately I can't taste them in the images.
Ketchup flavoured rice called paella??😂😂😂 Risotto is typically Italian, not Spanish!! And how is a burger Spanish? The only place you will find a burger in Spain is at McDonald’s!
Masterpieces of painting and brand bags always have something to imitate. Perhaps the intention was to offer conventional Western food in a spectacular "Spanish style".
@@jimchoo7670 San Sebastian is in the Basque country to begin with, and a restaurant can cook American food anywhere in the World, but to serve a burger at a ’Spanish’ buffet in Japan is ridiculous!

Can you state the price in Yen please.. as many of us are not USA citizens.
Thank you for your valuable opinion.

@Maria Werner - I have had a very similar mini burger in San Sebastián.
