The trance-like Stepford Wife-ish look on Joan Crawford's face at 3:31 as she robotically continues to pull the trigger. This film contains what is perhaps her finest screen portrayal.
I was kinda with David in the beginning but I think he kind of tortured her by not staying completely away and then to get with the step daughter, sheesh. I believe she married Mr Graham because it was a relief to actually feel loved not because of David. She nor her husband invited him to the wedding. Lol. I could be wrong though. Anyway Joan is the queen of classic movies to me. I loved this. It kept me guessing.
Underestimate a deranged woman's ability to hit her target at your own peril. Silly, silly David. By the way, that Modigliani painting in the shadows makes the scene even more unsettling. Brilliant set design!
Have you ever seen the movie "Transylvania Twist", it has two main leading women, and is in the style of Mel Brooks, and Monty Python type sketch comedy. But like "The Meaning of Life" with its double intro with one of them being a mock advertisement, I think TT did a better job of linking the silly scenes together. Its still my favorite movie.
“Us is not my favorite topic, name another”. One of the best movie lines of all time!

Van Heflin wrote that Miss Crawford outdid everyone on the set and gave her a lot of credit!
I love watching everything that you put up on RUclips. Great taste!
My favourite actress legend Joan Crawford
She unloads the gun. Was there ever a drawer or purse that Joan reached into that didn't have a gun???
or bra.
I prefer HUMORESQUE, I think it's her best performance
It's tough to choose between her 40s performances but A Woman's Face has always been my favourite
Don’t mess around with Joan!!
It's some kind of classic movies that end with the twist!
3:04 This is an excellent film noir which portrays Van Heflin as the homme fatale. He's the flirt and the seducer and Joan is GREAT as always. 💗💗
my favorite song is "Joan Crawford has Risen from the Grave" (Blue Oyster Cult)
This is exactly how I act when I'm in love.
Than you're an awful person:D

How about that. There’s a Modigliani painting on the wall. (Copy of one anyway.)
🥰🥰

joan always plays the same woman in a different situation....
She certainly does not play the same woman.
OH NO YOU'RE NOT
Why do you not allow comments on certain videos of yours?

Yes. I also love Crawford’s bravery in taking on this role. She had come a long way from being a clotheshorse Cinderella story at MGM.
On that Exorcist clip, why did you type video of "the original spider walk", then post the edited release? Oh and then disabled the comments lol
Magnificent scene and brilliant acting !
He called her bluff .. how stupid ! And she shot him again !
Classic Joan Crawford ! ❤

Fatal Attraction of 1947.
Joan Crawford storms into the room wielding a can of cleanser, and a wire hanger . . . .
