- The Seisenbergklamm is a gorge in Austria. This gorge in Weißbach bei Lofer, which was created during the Ice Age, can be found in the Austrian state of Salzburg , between Lofer and Saalfelden . The gorge is carved out by the Weißbach river, after which the village is named. A walk through the special formation of the Seisenbergklamm is highly recommended.
The formation of the Seisenbergklamm
The formation of the Seisenbergklamm began about 12,000 years ago due to the melting ice of the Ice Age. The gorge has been open to visitors since the 19th century. It is now geared towards tourism with a restaurant and a souvenir shop. To access the Seisenbergklamm you have to pay an entrance fee, this money is used for maintenance of the wooden bridges. With the Salzburger Saalachtal Card you can visit the gorge for free.
Hiking through the Seisenbergklamm
The walk through the Seisenbergklamm takes about an hour and a half. It is one of the most diverse gorges in Austria, with beautiful vegetation. During the walk there are several options to get to the water.

Thank you for another breathtaking video Mark. You know I always look forward to your awesome videos. You always pick the best locations. I realize that you have lot to cover in a short time but would you please walk a bit slower? You seem to be walking faster and faster lately. I feel like I am running along with you and it's making me tired 😅And it would be great if you would please stand still may be for 15-20 seconds when you see beautiful waterfalls and creeks so we can enjoy the scene a bit longer. I wish you would come to U.S. in December and make some x-mas videos. I don't think anyone can beat the Christmas decorations we have here. Thank you again and I look forward to your next video.

@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K I am in Virginia Beach, Virginia... N.Y City streets, like Saks Fifth Ave, Rockefeller Center and Dyker Heights are filled with Christmas lights and anyone can film it. You can also go to any Bush Gardens or Botanical Gardens which usually has over a million lights. They have giant waterfalls made from lights, stars hanging in the sky, shooting comets, meteor showers, rain drops, all made from lights. Six Flags Holiday lights are also awesome and they all let you film it without a permit... no worries. There are many Christmas lights videos of those places that I mentioned on RUclips, but I think you can do much better.

@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K you can also Google "Best places to see Christmas lights in America." Yes, Virginia Beach is beautiful. We also have beautiful X-mas lights at the board walk, on the beach, Botanical Gardens and Bush Gardens... It's 5 pm here on the East Coast. Good night. 🌃

I've been rewatching some of the older ones and taking notes. I now have a list of places and I guess I'm going to have to start narrowing down.😢 Spreeewald is for sure, as is Lauterbrunnen. To begin with we were going to go to Ireland, England, Spain, France, Germany, Italy and all the places around them. We cut off the first 3, then maybe France. I'm thinking we need more than a month just to see a couple of countries. Planning is so much fun though and most of the planning so far is just watching your videos and talking about it. I tried watching another person to see more of Hallstatt and they were so bouncy walking that I only made it a couple of minutes. You are so smooth. You can step over things and it looks like you went through them. Thank you for making and sharing these videos. I'm putting the word out about you. I hope you grow hugely.

Another stunning gorge hike of this area; thank you once more! A question - are the walkways and bridges really made of wood, or are they mainly metal? I've been wondering how long simple wood would old up in that moisture.

De naam klinkt bekend en ik ben in dat gebied geweest maar dat was 35 jaar geleden dus ik weet het niet meer. Moet ik opzoeken.
Hele mooie kloof overigens.
Ben je al in Werfen geweest. Burg Hohenwerfen is mooi en toen was daar ook een roofvogelshow.
Iets noordelijker bij Wimm ligt de prachtige Eisriesenhöhle. Wel heel veel traptreden beklimmen.
Salzburg Altstadt is ook fantastisch.
Bedankt voor de Tips ! ik heb ze geschreven ^^ ijsgrot heb ik wel eens van gehoord maar vergeet dat elke keer ben wel in die richting geweest dit jaar ! Ik ben nu zelf bezig met Dr. Vogelgesang klamm Austria 8K film ( als je nog meer tips hebt schrijf ze maar neer ;) ik ben zelf graag in Oostenrijk , zwitzerland is me wat te duur altijd betalen voor parkeren . . .
@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K Zwitserland is net wat mooier dan Oostenrijk. Het is allemaal net iets groter en rauwer.
Ik ging in Zwitserland altijd naar de wat kleinere hotels in de kleinere dorpen net iets verder het dal in en dat is goedkoper.
Je kunt ook in noord Italië verblijven en vandaar Zwitserland inrijden. Zo ver is het allemaal niet.
Beide landen zijn mooi. De Franse Alpen moet je toch ook een keer bekijken.
k slaap tegenwoordig in mijn Opel vivaro camperbus reis nu al 2 jaar zonder hotel , ook in de winter zonder diesel heater . . alleen smorgens Mr. Heater Buddy Heater een keer aan ;) ga nu dit kaar elektrisch proberen met gas veel condens in de bus. . . heb voor volgendjaar meer vrij gekregen van mijn werk dus hoop deze keer genoeg films te hebben het helejaar door ;) 2 weken kerst en nieuwjaar , carnaval 1 week , 1 week Hemelvaart en 4 weken bouwvak ^^ dus komt goed :D en de Franse alpen staat op programma ooit !! France plaatsen doen het heel goed zag ik op youtube maar probleem is . . . de temperatuur daar ik kan niet slapen in mijn bus met 30 graden overdag en nacht ga kapot denk ik. . . .misschien met hemelvaart proberen die kant uit te gaan. . . ( als je nog mooie plaatsen weet in de alpen schrijf ze maar neer ) gr mark
@@TheFlyingDutchMan8K ik zal bij iedere video wel war plekjes opnoemen. Misschien val ik in herhaling hier en daar.
De beste tip die ik je kan geven: ga een aantal keer naar Noorwegen. Vele malen mooier dan de Alpen. Overnachten mag daar bijna overal in de natuur. Wel even de voorwaarden opzoeken.
Ik ben daar vier keer geweest. 3x Hotelrondreis en dus duur maar het was het waard.
Een keer, de eerste keer, via Duitsland, Denemarken en Zweden naar Noorwegen gereden om te verblijven in Geilo.
Als je tips wilt laat maar horen.

Noorwegen is mooiste land van europa vind ik , zelf nooit geweest maar staat op de planning ;) ik hoop dat ik ooit kan stoppen met werken en dit fulltime kan gaan doen dan kan ik er meer de tijd voor nemen en de maanden gaan met het beste weer ! daarom ben ik nu ook aan het pushen met videos kijken of het helpt sneller te groeien ! ik hoop binnen nu en 3 jaar mijn hypotheek afgelost te hebben voor 90% dan kan ik zorgen vrij reizen nu heb ik nog te veel kosten en durf het nog niet. . . maar komt goed
