they're unable to add alot of features because of certain laws in countries (and because of google too), thats why the roms are seperated between regions

You didn't include the "Always on display" settings. They added an option to make it permanent just like with Samsung phones in the Chinese version but not on the global. I really love that feature.

Global or EEA roms are trash cuz they get almost nothing new in every update. It's not even a real MIUI upgrade, just a new name... For those with older devices, just go for custom roms like EU custom third party rom which is with all features based on china rom and even better optimized than stock MIUI rom.

As far as i know you should be good. Just make sure you check the 4g and 5g bands available in the phone and ensure the same works in your country and you should be good.

Actually,not smoother,but with so many ads in so many apps in Chinese version,update faster(test members only,and it needs at least level 4 in Chinese ver MIUI community,which is hard to reach),not that easy,if msg and phone app are changed to Chinese version,I prefer global version.
