- In this video I kick off my Axial SCX24 scale build with the goal of building a replica of my 1:1 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon! Building on the scx24 budget build, I add some scale accessories to match my big Jeep. I celebrate the one year anniversary of purchasing my first Axial scx24 by revisiting the spot I first unboxed that rig. I got some great crawling and trail run footage while I was there. Phase 2 will come soon with more scale details. Stay tuned as we close the gap between the scx24 and the real Jeep JT!

Look at Club5 racing, for bumpers and inner wheel wells, they also do a magnet battery mount and front and rear light kits. I like my rc4wd Falken wildpeaks on my JT

Thank you! I just stumbled upon the Club5 bumper and it looks fantastic. I may have to give that a try. Although I do prefer the aluminum over the 3d print, but that club5 even has the winch guard like mine. Tough choice!
Adam💪 I have a 2018 JKUR. Lifted on 37’s. It’s black with a twill trek top, winch etc. it’s a beast. I wish I could find a 24th scale JKU like mine. This video was awesome. Keep up the good work bro. Looking forward to the next stage 😎💪👊

Flip the racks around and you will have the jack in the same spot and the sand ladders will fit on the other side, also get rearview mirrors 💪

I have so been waiting for this! I am pursuing the exact same goal with my gladiator and I'm so excited to see someone not maxing theirs out with unrealistic suspensions!
It's kinda fun to do a more scale build! I am still surprised (pleasantly) by the performance even with stock shocks!

I’m starting to part together my blue gladiator that I still have the body for. Definitely love the scale look idea as I also already have a comp/performance AX24 and would like something more realistic.
It's fun to focus on the scale aspect. You've got the best of both worlds!
Can't believe it's been a year already! I got hooked on your channel when you built your 1st Gladiator. I went with the Coda bumpers on my JT build last year. BTW - I saw a full size Gladiator on 42" tires and 1 ton axles today - looked proportional in size to your SCX24 gladiator!
Time flies! Thats it, I just have to get 42"s for the big JT now LOL

There's bfg M/Ts on rc4wd if you want to get as close to 1:1 as possible. No bfg A/Ts for 1.0 unfortunately.
I found some Pitbull PBX tires that are almost an exact match. I've got those coming this week and we'll see how they look
