    I noticed you don't say the connectivity score for capitals anymore. Is this still important?

      It is, but I find it more useful for smaller maps and the maps in which is hard to get (a lot of) holds. There's a lot of variables btw, such as where other players capped, where you've got the most of troops spawned, are you hoping for a quick snowball or would you prefer selecting a better capital for the late game for example. So I just guide myself more using common principles now.
