Thank you for showing how you use the attachments at the end of the wand, this is really important to me and I haven’t seen it on other demo videos. Also love your dog, adorable!
This is so great! I need this in my life! Thank you so much for reviewing. I have a pug who shedding all year round, now i need to convince my husband to buy it! 😂
Thank you for this! I have 3 cats and I find lugging the corded vac room to room to be really difficult and time consuming. Also your home looks very lovely
Great video, really informative and I love both your dog and calm voice whilst explaining everything, torn between the Dyson and Miele triflex dog and cat, which is a lot more expensive, but I think you’ve just persuaded me on the Dyson, I have mostly hard floors but 3 hairy dogs!
Thank you! I just bought this and was wondering if that noise was normal! I had an older model for about 7 years and that one dodnt have a funny noise haha.
Nice and informative, really don’t know why more people haven’t seen this video. As I said it’s super informative and thankfully I now know that the V 10 is good enough for my pet hair problem because my pet sheds a lot of hair and it’s really hard to clean it up from my clothes.
I own the v10 motorhead and I resonate with what u said about this vac. When u were washing the filter, u didnt rub both sides of the filter and fill it up to clean the bottom internal hepa filter. Important so the suction level stays high and for proper thorough cleaning. Also sinceu deal with alot of pet hair, if ur looking for an upgrade, the v15 detect and detect plus has a hair detangling cleaner head and the mini motorized tool has a tapered brush to prevent hair tangling
Wow, good review, but you really convinced me to get it when you said children can use it! Well, that alone makes cleaning a lot easier for me 😅 Thanks
@@Ohkeh640 yes fully recommend, it’s brilliant the full power mode only lasts about 10 minutes but it’s super powerful the other modes last much longer, it’s easy to clean and charges quickly enough
Thank you for the review. I've been looking for a smaller upgrade to my huge cordless Vax which I only bought because it was on sale. PS. I loved your dog in those Flash ads. ;-)
What year does this say it was released on the box and what country of manufacture? I’ve found same make and model made in both Canada and Mexico.. so I’m curious
@@kacperPawlik-z5h Interesting, because it's quite a bit heavier than the V10. Then again, the Dyson vacuums are probably a lot lighter than most brands (at least the Miele).
They are really good for any mess with all the atchments. For the boost it's for like if you spilled a flower pot and all the dirt goes on the the floor.( hope that never happens).:)
Yes the absolute version has alot of attachments like the dusting brush, soft roller cleaner head, combo tool, mini motorized tool , and the mane torch drive leaner head. But I have this one and it's fabulous.
Thanks for the review! I read that with some vacuum cleaners the cleaner head at the end of the stick (which, apparently, is called wand, lol) may sometimes get stuck at 90 degrees, and that for that reason either the floor docking or the hanging-on-the-wall docking station is better (don't remember which one). Does yours do that?
Good video, helpful. But just one thing. As a carpet fitter for 33 years, i can tell you that it filled up with carpet fibres on your first attempt. As your carpet seems fairly new!
How often you need to vacuum if you have a big dog? More specifically, how long did you leave the carpet before vacuuming all the dog hair in that clip?
How often you vacuum with a dog, depends on the fur, how much they shred and how much dog hair on carpets bothers you! I cannot remember how long it had been!
Hi. How well did it do with getting dog hair out of the sofa? I have a short hair dashund and hair is constantly embedded on my sofa cushions. Ive tried a shark vacuum with the sofa attachment pet hair and doesnt work well at all.
My dogs hair is longer so clumps and lays over the fabrics, shorthaired dogs hair is spikey and goes into the fabric more. So I can't comment as it copes well with my dogs long fur
@@RenovationBayBee Yes, it totally is! My friend has the V11 and it has the same sound. I'm glad the V10 has it too -- sounds so futuristic, like a spaceship!
If you charge the dyson until full, use it for 30 mins, then put it away without charging, would the battery deplete over the course of a few days or should there still be half an hour of charge left when you use it the next time?
@Renovation Bay-Bee Hey, could I ask you a question please? How long would this vaccum stay on for on medium mode until it runs out of power? Thank you!
I think when you have it on max, you have to adjust something on vacuum head, so it moved across the carpet easier. It took me a while to figure that out. Maybe you did too and I should watch to the end. 😁
@@RenovationBayBee I hope it works out, because it’s annoying to not be able to move it along the carpet. It’s very possible I have no clue what I’m talking about though too, so if it doesn’t work, I apologize for acting like I knew what the problem was. 😂🤦🏻♀️
I bought one of these this afternoon at Costco. I let it fully charge and pressed the trigger and it went on and then immediately off and wouldn't turn on again. The charge then showed RED after having shown all BLUE. I plugged it back in and there it showed again full BLUE. But it never worked again and returned to RED after I unplugged it. I boxed it back up and returned it tonight to Costco and bought another one. It's now on the charger which I'll leave over night. My first Dyson and I'm not yet impressed.
I think from what I remember it says you must fully charge for 24 hours, even if it says its charged. Not sure if that will help, but fingers crossed 🤞
@@RenovationBayBee I thought my instructions said to charge for 3.5 hours.. I didn't see anything that said 24 hours. I returned the one I thought was not working. Its replacement is still on the charger over night (about 12 hours on the charge so far). I'll keep it on the charger for 24 hours. Thanks.
@@RenovationBayBee I looked again and it says clearly that before using it charge it for 3.5 hours and has a green arrow on the clock showing 3.5 hours. It's on the Assembly card that dangles from the handle. Nothing about 24 hours. So I tried it after 12 hours and it works great. Unlike the one I returned. That turned on for less than 1 second and never started again. But I'm happy it works. This is my first cordless vacuum which was the impetus for getting this. And the great Costco price too.
@@RenovationBayBee Aha. I downloaded the manual in pdf. It shows Lights Diagnostics. According to the red light I got the manual says: "Battery fault." I think this particular unit was defective. But yes, happy vacuuming I hope. Thanks for your help.
Great informative video! I have a Beagle and she sheds a lot.
