You become an expert once you‘ve been doing an expert job, consistently, for 10.000h

I practised the same mistake for 10000 hours, now I play the mistake perfectly wrong every time without even trying. 😂😂😂

      Good practice makes perfect.
      Bad practice is a nightmare.
Practice good for as little as 1 or 2hr a day and make steady progress.
Practice 5 hrs a day badly and live to regret it.

Sometimes I really don't like the concept of sticking to hour schedule cz its just break the streak of any particular section of practising( still praising consistency), the thing is what had you done today that makes your day worth it ! it may take 5 hr or 4hr but at the end, you have done it

Agreed, if you can look back and say "I accomplished X today in my practicing," then it was a good day.

I think the biggest difference makes the teacher. In my opinion i have the perfect teacher. He let me play almost every piece but says if he thinks it’s too hard but he says its my decision and I have as much time as I want. 2 years after I started playing the piano I already was able to play rondo alla turca by Mozart, le coucou by daquin, river flows in you, conptine d‘un autre etee and nuvole biance. I always practiced at least 2 pieces at „the same time“. Now I am playing the piano since about 6 years and I am almost done with hungarian rhapsody no 6. He told me that it is hard but i can give it a try. When I did sth good he always said it and when I practiced a lot he said that he can hear that I practiced a lot. In summer I finished school and by that time my school music teacher told me I am the best pianist of the school since about 4 years. I dont wanna sound like a show off but I would have never become so good without my piano teacher because he is really great.

Practice does not make perfect. Practice makes permanent.

My late friend Peter Carrol-Held was performing by the time he was 10y.o. I imagine he hadn’t arrived at 10,000 hours.

Ugh wish you didn't show the guy playing in background. His overly stylistic hand gestures are so affected and lame.

My hand & arm movements are fine-tuned to my sound and technique, and I don't think a random youtube comment is going to change what I've been taught from my successful Russian piano school professors and I've never heard any criticism about ever. Have a good day, Bryan!

@PianoTechSupport alrighty then 👍 no worries, I made a comment not trying to change you, I couldn't care less. Just saying it looked a bit cringe that's all. I'm familiar to Russian school of piano in technique and although you do it, yes, your added gratuitous flair especially in your right hand just makes some roll their eyes. Take care
