Thank you so much! Yes, I love the Makarov so much that I feel it would be shame to put something else than a Soviet music. This one from "Siberiade" match very well IMHO! RIP Eduard Artemyev, who passed away on December 29th, 2022.
For the other disassembly / assembly videos I use White Bat Audio tracks, which are very-very good too (and thanks to its author, royalty free!). But the Makarov is so well designed that I want to make a difference...

Thank you so much! I plan to make more videos like this, but as you say, it takes time. Regarding the song, E.N. Artemyev (who died on 29 December 2022, RIP) is a great composer almost unknown in the West, but his works are great...especially for the Pink Floyd fan that I am!

For anyone struggling it's much easier to use your cleaning rod/takedown to push back the extractor spring then push the extractor in.

Якщо є із чим порівнювати, то він не такий і гарний. Наприклад глок будь якої моделі, CZ, USP, Taurus.
Звісно, пм має кращі експлуатаційні характеристики за тт, апс, наган.

This is truly amazing :) The PM indeed embodies the soviet technical thought - all the maticulously calculated cams, andgles and dimensions, but with all the robustness and simplicity still retained. This material is the best view I've had of the extractor, which is particularly interesting for me. I still don't understand why it has so many different angles and surfaces. Any chance of getting a closer look at the space which it occupies in the slide? Thanks!

Спасибо за видео. На первом и последнем фото затвор с круглыми точками указания положения предохранителя, а при разборке овальные (более поздняя модификация).
Очень хороший вид: я сфотографировал копию, сделанную в Ижевске в 1973 году...но разобрал болгарскую копию 1980 года. Почему? Потому что для такого рода видео требуется сделать несколько дублей для каждого этапа разборки... и я не хотел рисковать испортить советскую копию, которая во Франции встречается реже! С другой стороны, по фотографии... хотелось советский экземпляр... что касается музыки! Спасибо за ваш комментарий: всегда особенно приятно, когда кто-то говорит на языке Николая Фёдоровича! (Google-перевод... мой русский еще недостаточно хорош!)
И отвёрткой пользоваться не надо, на шомполе есть загиб- отвёртка.

The camera used for the disassembly / assembly video is a Canon EOS 250D.
For shooting video with slow motion, I use a Go-Pro 10.

The AK-47 / AKM / AK-74 are planned but in an unknow shoedel : as you can guess, it's some work...that I must do among other works. The AK-101 to 105, are very close to AK-74M, so, close to AK-74 dissassembly. It may differ a little bit more for the model with 3-rnd burst (-2 sufix in name, for exemple AK-103-2).
Quite close to the AK-47, you can find the Galil ARM on our channel. But the gas tube is remove a different way.

Any idea's how to remove a seized firing pin
Did you succeed in removing the safety lever?
If, so : deep the rear of the slide inside a penetrating oil bath (especially if the problem is rust), then, after some hours, gently (i mean, very gently, by several light strikes) punch the firing pin tip by the bolt face firing pin's hole with a pin-punch. If you do it a very gentle way, you should be able to remove the firing pin with damaging its tip. If you need to strike it harder, then, try to find a suitable brass pin-punch : but this one will probably break... (brass pin-punch should be consider as "martyr tool" that should be re-worked as often as needed...)
In anyway, don't strike hard the firing pin with a steel tool..unless you a have a spare parts to change it.
And of course, be careful of being perfectly center into the firing pin hole when punching.

Of course : neither I did remove the barrel or the rear sight:
1. It's not discribed in the soviet's service manual.
2. It's useless for current maintenance.
3. It maybe harmful for the weapon, and may need remplacement of some parts.

Les pistolets Makarov de calibre 9x18 mm Makarov sont classés - au moment où j'écris ces lignes - en catérogie B-1 en France, donc accessible avec autorisation préfectorale pour un particulier au titre du tir sportif (et il y a tout de même pas mal de possesseur légaux de cette arme en France...).
Par ailleurs, on peut tout à fait s'intéresser au armes et à leurs démontage sans en être possesseur. (Ce qui a longtemps était mon cas...avant d'avoir l'âge requis pour être détenteur)
Enfin, la France n'est ni le centre de la Francophonie, ni le centre du monde : RUclips s'adresse à tout le monde. En témoigne les commentaires de toutes origines dans la présente section...et c'est très bien comme ça!

Не че че, а в плане снятии магазина ПМ идет нахер Наличие сброса возле спускового механизма куда было бы проще и лучше Когда учился стрелять - устройство придерживания магазина не поддавалось и не оттягивалось Инструктор сначала подколол меня, мол ты немощный Потом сам взял пистолет и оттянуть не мог Только с 5 попытки) Ну и представьте, что где его надо всерьез применять, перезаряжать и тут такое)
