Just ordered it last night! $61 with a $5 discount code. Got an upgraded big brother to the RG351V now! Wish they had the woodgrain though. Great review, would suggest to get some lights and make sure your lens is clean. it's not really pleasant watching you play. 14:15 Great review!
Thanks for the feedback Kyle. You will be happy to know I have just picked up a new camera so hopefully things will improve going forward. I have been thinking about the 406V… I’m just not 100% sold on it yet though
IIRC one of the CFW has a fix for the analog snapping. Can’t recall which one. I have a 40xxv on the way, due later today actually. Will replace my old 351v. UPDATE: MuOS is the one that will fix the analog input.
@@andrewc7475 It's fine. A solid handheld with no real problems. Nothing revolutionary but good. I tried knulli and didn't like it, and am using stock OS for now, which is not too awful. Planning to use MuOS when it releases publically with 40xxv support, which they say is coming next month.
This is interesting, as this is the first Anbernic device i have ever ordered that doesnt have a screen protector, usually there is one in the box. Personally i have ordered a screen protector and case
Thanks for this review. Can't wait to my device coming the next days. One question....This could just be a coincidence, but your voice sounds like someone I know. Don't you happen to play with Blender and donuts?
@thegamelounge659 I'm currently digging into 3d animation (Blender 3D) and there is this guy who makes beginner tutorials. His voice sounds really similar to yours.
@@thegamelounge659 my sd card contains folders: nes, snes, n64 etc. The roms inside these folders are all read and seen by the previous anbernic. This new one shows everything and plays everything, exceot snes console does not show up in the anbernic main menu. Nes does, n64 does etc etc, except for snes.
Yeah I hear you, choice is good though. Although, it does frustrate a little when they dont seem to fix the issues. I have an RG35XX-H and the DPAD is really stiff. Thanks for watching and commenting as always!
I also want to love it but heres the reason im staying out of this one , i will wait literally less than 1 week or 2 and they will basically will come up with another new device let me elaborate more on why i hate/dislike/oppose this exact device : i decided to pull the trigger on one even tho i have like 20 Chinese retro handhelds i did an impulse purchase, as soon as i took it out of the box to play :n64 glover and ps1 monsters inc the joystick right out the box is complete trash 🗑️ it basically works as a dpad without any of the fine tuning, it only registers ( up, down , right , left ) but anything in between is lost is basically a dpad with a joystick slap to it , i thought this was the device anbernic needed with the joystick finally vertical form but oh man this is complete trash 🗑️🗑️🗑️
I hear you, if you are buying this for N64, which this system is very capable of this is a huge blow. You will see Mario and conker turning at 45 degree increments in my video. A huge shame. If N64 and DC are a requirement this is certainly not the system for you. For me, this wasn’t something I needed.

This is really great. I wondered if this could be fixed by software and that really could be game changing on this device.
So, how is it??

@@tappersreviews4677 what didn’t you like about knulli?
That will be very interesting. Would fix the issues with this device
Looks beautiful
It's characterless
I love the design personally, think it’s really clean and slick
I love that big screen. Was that a cover that came with the system? Do you think that works well or would you add a case?

Haha thanks, not sure what Blender and Donuts means?

Ahh, well he sounds like a great guy 🍺
Can you tell me if this has Mario kart and super Mario bros preinstalled?
No. I just got mine and it’s not preinstalled due to copyright reasons.
Actually, second stick is great for vertical arcade shoote'm up when you set screen vertically :D
This is a valid point. I’m not hugely into vertical arcade shooters but if it’s your thing the second stick is great
Can you test some ps2 games, like ffx. I’ve seen some handheld with same play some ps2 games
This is not powerful enough to run any PS2 games im afraid.
Got this device too. It doesn't show SNES. Anything else works fine. How can this device see SNES?
When you say “Doesn’t show SNES” do you mean with the default OS you can’t see any games?

Only thing I can suggest is to try renaming the snes folder to ‘SFC’ (Super Famicom). This may work…
@@thegamelounge659 WORKS!
Wow, I took a shot…
Can you play amiga with this???
Absolutely, I don’t have any Amiga games but it is a supported console
Hi mate would you say this is comfortable for someone with big hands couldn’t use the xx35 plus as my hands cramped
Yes, the first thing that hit me was the size. It’s chunkier than you think. The d-pad is a little small though. So something to consider
how to get knulli?
There is a link to the quick start guide in the description. Take a look there
Thanks for the video! Love the way this handheld looks. Just wish it wasn't another H700 device, just burned out on all of them at this point. 🍻
