I think that Fuji have just produced that updated X-T5 firmware. I mainly use zone focus, but every now and then I like to use auto focus. Hopefully the issue is fixed with the update.
Great video Giulia! We both had the same upgrade path too! I went from the X-T30 to the X-T5. Would love to see a follow up video on the Sigma 18-50. I've been eyeing up that lens, but I'm put off by the fact that it doesn't have the aperture ring on the lens 🙈
I understand the struggle, for me, it's not that different, because with Canon I was used to change everything through the dials, but after using the 35mm to this I can see the difference way how I interact with the camera. Soon a video about the Sigma lens ❤
Yeah, it will work, but normally when I'm in studio doing e-com, I have many styles to shoot + a subject that is moving quite fast, for this reason auto-focus is the way I have to work. For more dedicated project like in street or more specific intimate portrait I normally switch to manual focus.
I also started with a X-T30 which I (still) take everywhere with the 18-55 lens, with Nikon D750 full frame as high quality camera. I sold all my Nikon "holy trinity" lnses aand cameras and bought the Fuji. I already had the 10-24 and 55-200 Fuji lenses. I love the X-T% and use it as my high quality camera and have little problem with autofocus including a lot of sports photography (mainly with the 55-200). There are so many focus area and area size options and with continuous focus I get amazing results. I don't use a huge zone as the wrong thing can be come the subject, and I also use eye and face detect and sometimes diferent object detect modes. I find the 16 to 80 an amazing "walk about" lens and also use it a lot for Landscape - much more than the 10 -24, and also use the 55 to 200 for Landscape. At the age of 72, with this camera and the three lenses, packed in my new Shimoda 35l Explore V2 bag, my hiking up mountains to get great pictures is so much easier. The thing about the focus - just spend time with teh different modes and you can't go wrong!
Love my XT-5! Would love to see more content from this camera . 😊

You can save your project with focus using manual focus. It forks :)
