How long did it take from order to delivery of the kit?

I think the Empennage only took 2-3 months when I ordered it. Big delay right now on the Fuselage and Wings.

I could swear the RV-14 is final-sized holes. It was supposed to be one of the big time-savers over previous models (except the 12). Is that not the case? This post in Vans' news feed indicates the 14 is final-sized, but you have me worried (ordering a kit soon) www.vansaircraft.com/2020/07/vans-announces-plan-to-move-to-final-size-holes-on-rv-10-kits/

I think some of the empennage pieces are still shared with the RV-10, and those have to be final-sized. As I'm getting further along, it does seem that there are more pieces that don't call for drilling. Just following the plans!

@Eric Thomas Thanks for inquiring about that. I had the same question when he was drilling. I'm on the fence about a RV-8 or RV-14.

@@muhammadsteinberg The Rv10 is definitely matched drilled from what I've seen on posts, not sure on the RV14
