Have you ever wondered what rivets are used in aircraft construction? well I can tell you that the rivets are much smaller than you would expect. This video covers what the numbers mean when referring to a specific rivet, what the AN stands for, what the difference between 426 and 470 rivets are, what AD means, and it explains the sizing of rivets.
There are a couple of mistakes in the information, in one part I think we say 3 different numbers, but I want to reiterate... I am NOT and expert, so use this info at your own risk. For clarification Edge Pitch is 2 times the diameter... not 3 or 3 and a half.
