- Alaska Airlines announced yet another livery change and this one is much more than just some spacing of lines! Check out this Boeing 737 decked out with the new scheme arriving to Boeing Field for a company unveiling celebration.

I really like their new livery and I think it's a great improvement over their old one; but didn't they update the old one just a few months ago, or were they just introducing the new one in phases?
They may have. I did notice the subtle change in font, where the "k" didn't cross through the lst "a" in the word "Alaska". Not only that, but the letters were much smoother.
I'm a ramp lead for Alaska. When it comes in I will make a video! Loving the new paint job. And what about that landing huh!?! Beautiful!
Such a perfect landing. I had to watch this three to four times, just to see the main landing gears touch the runway. Great Alaska Airlines flying. I love this new livery. The stripes was getting a little old, and I think the new font used on "Alaska" is much smoother and gentle-looking,

In my opinion the new livery kinda reminds me of a mint box. It's good though.
What the heck was wrong with the landing lights? Why they keep flashing?
I've noticed that too on some Southwest 737s. Probably to catch more attention for people who may be in the way.
It's an option that Boeing offers for their customers. It's just a way to be seen better while flying at night. Alaska has that option on all of our planes. SWA used to have it but for some reason changes back to the solid light.
