    Spot on Doc!! Had a heart attack in 2020...lost 30 lbs on fasting 18 to 20 hours daily ...cut out most sugar and carbs...but all. Eat grass fed beef , butter, pastured chicken eggs...avacados . Skip breakfast drink fresh squeezed lemons ,crushed garlic ,ginger root, and apple cider vinegar daily. Never better!!

    THIS guy is just laying some facts out that you cannot ignore. Obesity can shorten your life. Intermittent fasting can help. Fiber, whole foods, and foods like this can help. Also cut out the sugar!!!

    The medical professionals community needs to be trained by this wealth of information and truly place their goals/objectives towards truly caring for the health of their patients and STOP filling out prescriptions for the massive meds that only make people sicker and simply making the pharmaceutical industry richer and richer

    Thank you! You are the best and I love listening to you. I’ve been fasting and lost 24 lbs within a few months. I’ve done 3 and 5 day fasts. It just gets easier every time. For the first time, my cellulite has diminished drastically.

      Before I eat an orange, I wish the outer skin, put it to dry on the sink or store it in the fridge. Then I put the peel in a small sauce pan or pot, add a piece of ginger, one clove of garlic and about 3 pieces of cloves. Bring to a boil then turn off fire and let cool fit a half an hour. Drink a half a cup at bed time. Don't drink with medicine. Very good sleep.

    We now know that for most, having a BMI above 25 leads to adverse health cosequences.
    The optimal BMI is 20 to 22 and the optimal height to waist ratio is 42% to 44%.

    I'm into the fifth day of intermittent fasting. I wake up 2 hrs earlier and a lot fresher than before. The almost all time feeling of tiredness is gone. My visiom imroved. First 3 days the thoughts about what to eat were haunting me, but today was quite ok. I even felt I could go with one meal only. And of course I lost some weight.

      @@agiasf7330 I leave out breakfast. I eat somewhere between 11 and 1 PM. And then between 6 and 8. Depending on my daily schedule. In between I'm doing farm chores, riding horses and giving lessons, while I don't even think about eating.

      @@agiasf7330 After dinner was the hardest part first. But yesterday I had a normal piece of fish with salad and a piece of devil mushroom and I still felt so full at 11 PM. So you need to get through the first few days of craving and it gets normal.

      Ignore fake nutrition gurus, especially those pushing fad expensive diets. Steer completely clear of the delusional ones who recommend cutting down on fruit. A whole food, plant based diet is suitable for 99% of humans, 10 - 12 servings a day of fresh, mainly raw foods will cause an epidemic of good health, which the medical profession does not want!
      At the moment they are seeding Big Pharma for 20 years time, when the results of these fad diets eventually show themselves.

    I can say that fasting don't do anything to your health in India there are so many poor people who are hungry but still get all those disease, it's only a thing of rich people who eat 5 times a day and night, best to bo is to eat but only when hungry and eat home made food 🍲😊🙏

      They are both sugars. But raw, unheated, unrefined honey does have medicinal benefits.

      Wow can't believe i saw this. Man Iv tried everything and couldn't skip meals it's the carbs man go carnivore and limit carbs and sugar you will be able to go longer I tried halfassing this for 4 or 5 years but finally I'm getting on track I thought I would be stricken w hunger- weakness-shakes forever but it's true when u are looooow carbs the cravings go away I'm not as hungry & Iv even lost weight

    But how many people actually eat every few hours?! I just assumed obese people eat huge meals at one sitting a few times a day. I've found for myself all I need is one meal a day four days a week. It feels better to feel a little peckish than to feel stuffed.

    Dr. I have a question! I have severe Gastritist issue for past 15 year and it is mostly stress triggered. Doctors have told me to reduce my stress and the rest will be fine. I have trried but all my efforts have always gone in vain.
    I was suggested by someone to do fasting and I would love to do that, (btw I am also very lean).
    But the problem is whenever I fast my stomach pain gets aggravated , why is that so any particular reason as no one so far has been able to answer that. Doctors have just told me not to fast !!

      Hopefully you find a way to heal soon. I struggle with bad acid reflux/gastritis too and idk what to do either.

      There are several doctors and other health professionals on RUclips that are truly knowledgeable, (as this one is). I would research some more and find them. Dr Berg and Dr Berry are two that I know of.

      Also if I'm having a particularly hard time with my fasting period, I eat a saltine cracker.
      Nothing's perfect and fasting may not be something you can't do perfectly right away or maybe EVER.

      Look up Dr Ludwig Johnson from Venezuela. He has a protocol that has helped gastritis. Juice 8 ounces cabbage with drops of Oregano oil . Day 1; 1 drop: day 2 , 2 drops. Day 3, 3 drops etc all the way to 21 days.

      Fast for shorter duration and also you can do water fasting..or just eat your last meal before sunset

    The problem with this theory is, animals are senescent when they are fasting. Humans cannot do that, because we are active mentally and physically all day long. So animal fasting does not work for humans, because we need food for the brain and the body ALL DAY LONG, not just when we are hunting prey. I cannot think without breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I will fail at my job, otherwise.

    NO NO NO, if you fast it does not mean that you are starving cancer. In ancient times, primitive man ate when he found food, it does not mean that they fasted, nor did they think about that. If you check the books they died very young. Others say that sugar feeds cancer, wild animals have been found with cancer and those are carnivores. So avoid refined sugar, eat small portions and eat a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, seeds.
