    Yeeeeeeeees ! You're the first guy that putting a Settings Video Tutorial on Keyshot Settings. So thanks for that and now I will improve myself more in different camera settings with the right sample rendering to try !

    luckily now with KS9's new Denoise feature, you can render as low as 32 samples and get a decent screen-resolution render, depending on the materials, 64-128 might be sufficient, and 256 for final output.
    most users without network rendering can't ever go beyond to the multi-hundreds of samples on their own machines.

    Really really helpful. Saved me a ton of time from aimless experimenting. Thanks!

    Hey! The new devialet speakers, well done! ;-) A few years ago I drew a very similar flat shape for them. Thanks for your tutorials!

      thanks man! If you mean more advanced outputs you're going to be waiting some time - I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing in custom control haha

      i know right, 800 samples!? that'd take my network rendering farm about 8 days lol

    alternatively get blender, throw your finished render in there and put a denoiser on it. this would save potential hours on a big render

    Usually I feel like 250 samples the most I use and I have 9900k and quad Xeon 8880 v3, usually my scenes are intense and not wanting more then 3rs for a 4k image.

    Very well explained, One question, I have a computer with an I7 10th Generation and an rtx3060, is it convenient for me to use the CPU engine? gpu? hybrid? and how many samoles? thanks!

    what would be your advice on 700 frames to render and per render take 6 minute to render how can make it faster even denoiser doesn't work that much

    • @LiamMartinTutorials
      @LiamMartinTutorials  3 года назад

      Simplify your scene, optimise you output resolution and sample rate. If you haven't got the kit to render it in reasonable time, potentially look at cloud rendering services or a PC upgrade.

    Great man! Thanks for this tutorial. How do you save a render view as in the video (Icon camera)?

    • @LiamMartinTutorials
      @LiamMartinTutorials  4 года назад +1

      There's a save putton in the camera tab, to the left of the camera list.

    An simple automotive scene takes 17 minutes to render 64 sample...I don't want to image how long it would take to render 700 samples :))

    What is your lighting mode for this scene? Interior Mode or Product Mode? I'm always struggling with the fireflies issue with Product Mode.

    • @LiamMartinTutorials
      @LiamMartinTutorials  4 года назад +1

      Product for most, sometimes leave it in basic. I only use interior if I'm working on in a closed room scene

    Hi friends
    Very good videos on this channel.
    I have a question, why sometimes using certain materials, a notice appears, saying that my GPU does not have enough memory to render that scene? This appears in the middle of work.
    My Graphic Taegeta is Powerful RTX2060 .. Can it be solved?
    Thanks !!!

    Hey Liam, may we know your spec of the machine you've used on this one? I'm thinking about new setup for my keyshot rendering work.. Just want to know what it would take to do 1000 samples for render scene line this and how long it would take..
    Thanks!

      Check out my latest video. If you want quick rendering, you want to utilise GPU rendering in KS9. I now have a 2070 Super which runs anywhere from 8 to 20 times faster than my 2700X CPU

    why is my samples is above 800? can i reduce it?

    Is that ok for animation too ? I'm a product designer working for 5 years with keyshot ( far to knwo everything lol ), but i was wondering if it can be too long for animation render ( i'm looking for realistic render )

      Hey Liam!
      What do you mean by "rain" ?

    • @LiamMartinTutorials
      @LiamMartinTutorials  5 лет назад

      The rain material I make in this video

    • @aeonjoey3d
      @aeonjoey3d 4 года назад

      @@LiamMartinTutorials i think the rain comment is for another video lol - this is the "Keyshot my recommended settings" vid.
      Also everyone needs to try the new Denoise toggle in KS9 with animation rendering, you'd be surprised how much lower samples you can use for decent frames!
