I love them too. It's PC/PS3 version that is godawful, no colour, no details, boring brown featureless hills and equally featureless cities. PS2 on the other hand looks like Vice City with colourful decorations, teal sky, yellowish glow and shine on roads. People who critisize this forget that it actually looks better than PC version in everyway. Yes it might be clunky in places but there is love and care put into it everywhere like into some mod project which is in many ways is being so heavily based on Carbon.
Also could you do a video showing off the unused traffic cars in this game? There's quite a handful and a lot have differences between their Most Wanted/Carbon counterparts.
Golf GTI fits the sounds more tho, for some reason they replaced the VR6 sounds with just inline 4, some developer at BB got confused and misassigned it to R32 in Carbon. Same way that Eclipse in UG2 had a V6 sound for no reason.
It was used in the PSP version, wich makes me wonder why didn't they use the R32, since it was also in pro street and the models from game to game are virtually identical

The Golf GTI probably wasn't intended to appear in PS2/Wii Undercover at all. It was probably left over from Carbon where it was also unused.

Undercover PS2 is of course using Carbon's engine and assets when it was first developed. So, that's why you see a leftover from Carbon here.
