They all look so pretty!!!! I've never used meringue powder before. I can get meringue/pavlova powder mix from the supermarket. Ingredients powdered sugar, tapioca starch, egg white powder, and cream of tartar. Would that work? Thanks for the tutorial!!!
An idea for a video would be approximately how many batches each pound of ingredient makes. It was a little tricky knowing how much to order since a pound of a denser ingredient wouldn’t go very far. Same with micas and fragrances in ounces. I kind of blindly ordered and hoping I didn’t order too much or too little- haha!
No cream of tarter to help it harden & keep from deflating? I'm just curious if the cream of tarter would keep it more solid in a nice whipped height.? I'm going to keep playing around with it and tweak things more because it seems to really deflate after sitting. I'll check my humidity level with this next batch too & see if that's making the peaks fall.🤔
Mine deflated, too! I believe the SLSa is messing with it. Because recipes I've tried with less SLSa (& more sugar) creates a harder & fluffier icing. so at that point, You've got to ask: would you rather flat, deflated icing that creates lots of bubbles OR fluffy, hard icing that creates minimal bubbles.... I'm working on it! Ill post as soon as I can come up with a solution!

They're all pretty young so I was going to add a fruit loop scented FO to the frosting. Along those lines, could you add a little light oil (like sunflower or jojoba) to it? It would probably be a teaspoon or less of it.
So I guess my mind isn’t in the gutter bc I did not get it at all! Then I read alchys comment & was like “ohh…. Hahahaha!” I thought it was funny & cute! lol but, I don’t sell me nor my stuff. Sadly, there just isn’t enough time!

If you were to add fragrance oil to this would it be best to use poly80 as well?
You can, it couldn’t hurt. But it’s not really necessary. After all, it’d be less than a tsp of FO
