You’re good sweet heart! Yes, I’m human & sometimes I mess up. This part was in the video at first bc I wanted everyone To know it’s ok to mess up, don’t give up! This is how we learn. Lots of people comment “you’re just good at everything” “trying a new thing just comes so easily”, etc. I wanted to show everyone I make plenty of mistakes & this simple little project almost took me out!! LMAO! Seriously, I made 3 batches & 3 tutorials... but I took it out bc video was already too long. I normally use POLYSORBATE 80 but I used hydrogenated castor oil peg 40 this time. Either one is good... peg 40 is an emulsifier & a surfactant & aids in foam. Happy truffle-making!
@@CreativeBathLab Thanks for your time! ❤️ I was reading to control the humidity (while we are making) is very important too for this Kind of products. I cant find polisorbate 80.. I will try with Coco Betaine. What do you think? Regards, 💝
Love your work!!! So creative and helpful. These seem to bubble more than the other recipe ive tried that every1 has been using. And, they look more like an ice cream scoop when scooped. I have a question, about how many truffles does your recipe make and what size/ounces are the truffles? Thanks so much in advance!
For the optional ingredient, "bentonite clay", did you mean white kaolin clay? Unless there is a lighter color bentonite clay available, isn't it a dark, grey color, that would be hard to color with mica?
I am having troubles with the fizzy/bubble reaction with these. I notice my mix was a little dry(our weather has been sooo dry) and didn’t want to stay together in the scoop so I added 99% alcohol to make it a little more dough-like. They scooped perfectly and then I let them dry for a few days and tried them out… but there was almost not bubble and fizzing. Any tips? Do you think the alcohol messed up my reaction? I love these and I want them to work soooo badly!
Ill be doing another tutorial soon! no action means that the truffles were exposed to moisture & premature reactions took place. it could've definitely been the water!!!!
Glad to hear you tried it!!! There are only 3 things that'd make this happen... Your problem is the 3rd one, since you've already made 4 successfully! 1. You're not packing scoop well enough. 2. Mix is too dry. Add melted butter (or your choice of wet ingredient) LITTLE BY LITTLE until it sticks together. 3. Your butter has cooled & hardened (& wont stick together to form solid scoop). Place in microwave, as is, for 10 seconds to warm butter (your mix will puff up but it'll quickly go down as you mix it). Then, continue scooping! Happy Scooping!!!
Not a damn thang! 😂 It’s on my to-do list (you should see that mo-fo).. I should be getting to it by December of 2038! 😂 ok seriously, I’m going to try to do it in the next 2 weeks or so. I’m very excited about learning & experimenting! Been having all my supplies & everything.

Wow these look so amazing, do they float??
you never fail me lol, I swear your so inspiring, you have helped me so much you just have no idea,
Awe! I love it 😻. I try girl! They do float in the beginning but slowly start to sink!
Can you please make a video to show us how are packaging your products to your customers
I have no customers (don’t sell items). But lately I’ve been making “packaging” sections
@@CreativeBathLab awesome thank you for all your contents, you have inspired me with my own small business am big fan of you
Hello and Happy new year, how much glycerine did you use?
Happy new year!
Those look beautiful! Is the bathtub slippy while getting out? I’m thinking of making some as gifts and I wanted to make sure before I gave them away
Not slippery or greasy AT ALL!!! The bath melts were slippery. I had an actual slip n slide in my tub, not these tho!!

I think it should work! Just don’t go overboard on powder color or mica if you don’t have an emulsifier. liquid is fine though!
شكرآ حسابك جدا روعة
شكرا لك!
Butter? Like dairy butter? Can you use Cocoa, Mango or Shea butter as well?
Not dairy butter
Where do you get the decorative crystals and what are they made of? Thanks
The decorative salts, I make them! ruclips.net/p/PLZ9mkRAAYRNP7V8b40-fVFURpNAVZWHvO
I cannot get the peg 40 castor oil through that link until March. What other ingredient can I use for the emulsifier?
Polysorbate 80!

I have a question, about how many truffles does your recipe make and what size/ounces are the truffles? Thanks so much in advance!
Awe thanks girl! I appreciate it! The recipe makes like 6-8 big ones, but I’m not sure on how many oz. each. I’ll have to start weighing them!
What other emulsifiers would you recommend if one didn’t have the one you used in hand ?
The only other 1 I use is hydrogenated castor oil, peg 40
Absolutely love all your videos and all your amazing creations. Was wondering how do you convert millilitres to grams?
Thanks! when dealing with liquid, milliliters is normally exactly the same amount of grams. Google "milliliters to grams" & itll say
You do such beautiful work...thank you for sharing! Does it take a single truffle per average bathtub, or does it take 2?
That depends on how big the truffle scoop & the bath bomb is. But For a 3” bath bomb id say these truffles are about the same
@@CreativeBathLab I've never used a bath bomb. Is a single 3" bath bomb sufficient for the average size bathtub?
Do you end up with glitter all over you when you get out?
Nope
Can we use SCI instead of SLSA?
of course

Add your citric acid LAST
Can I use polysorbate 60? I'm trying to use what I already have
Yes!
What is the emulsifier?
Polysorbate80
Made these Truffles with no success. I used coconut oil. Any suggestions please?
Oh no! another video coming soon
My mix was a bit lose it wouldn't stay together after 4 scoops, what do you recommend?
