@@CascadeBackcountry Seems to be common with chest rigs, but worse with leather. Thanks again for the response and the excellent videos. Keep up the great work.
Oh man those things are great! They are fantastic for around camp, swimming and fishing on the shoreline. Yeah they're pretty grippy on wet rocks. Also stop ya from getting a sunburn on your feet haha Dowside is that at 8 oz they're kinda heavy but for most weekend warrior trips, they're great! I'll be making a video at the beginning of this coming backing season about my favorite tackle and my favorite rod n reel to bring backpacking. Thanks for watching!
@@CascadeBackcountry Same here! If you look closely, Dave and I were swigging some Jim Beam during the ‘Fireside Fish Talk’ at the end of our Wilderness Trout Video on day 2. 🥃
@@CascadeBackcountrynot to be weird but I live in western WA and dabble in backpacking and fishing and am super inspired by your videos, I would way down to tag along on a journey, lmk if I can DM to exchange info
@@CascadeBackcountry Im just looking thru some old videoes and helping your channel's algorithm. Im also looking to replace some old gear, so it will be cool to see what you have found that works. Im specifically looking for a good affordable tent that can take on our Washington winter weather. My 30+ year old tent is tired and leaked the last time i used it. I really like that chair you have in the video, mine is nice, but way to bulky and heavy.
THANK YOU FOR WATCHING!

Great job! Excellent gear. I’d be equally interested in the fishing related stuff.
Well I do a lot 9f backcountry fishing! Maybe one day I'll make some vids about my fishing setups
I would love to know how much All of this stuff cost's? Great video! Thank you.
It costs way too much money. Don't tell my wife! Haha
Good overview of your gear.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
what chest holster do you use? Thoughts on it? Thanks, great job on the video.
It's a Hosking Holster. I love it. Great quality. Used it for years wit no problems
Thank you
@@CascadeBackcountry How is it in the summer time with just a T-shirt on? Uncomfortable without multiple layers?
My only complaint would be that if it's hot out, you'll get sweaty under it. But it's hot out... everything is sweaty haha

I am a die hard bidet convert! Haha 😄 gotta stay fresh in the backcountry
Very thorough! Gave me a few ideas to add to my pack. But I’d really like to know the Cascade Backcountry adult beverage choice?! 😁
I'm a middle of the road whiskey kinda guy! And if the legs are feeling fresh I might even throw a few good beers in the pack 😀

Weirdo! Haha yeah I'm not super opposed to going backpacking together. I did a trip with a subscriber once. It was a good time
👍
If backpacking season ever kicks off this year I'll be putting out a new summer gear list. Pretty excited to get out.. if the snow ever melts!
