Notice how you have the ARB set at it stiffest setting just like I have mine , just so you can feel it doing anything .. the arms are so long and flexible they barely do anything to level out the roll .. it is a poor match for the stock 3+2 HD leafs ... maybe designed for the 2+1 comfort springs ...waste of money ... and the front ARB in the front is already too stiff for the front causing that classic Amarok front shimmy ... spending money on these bars only to find its complete bull and build quality isn’t even as good as the factory stuff is so painful ! But at least you proved that the rear bar doesn’t render the rear exhaust hang point useless .. cheers👍
I really doubt the adjustability on the rear ARB has any effect, when the arms itself is over half a meter long! 😂. The extra holes are possibly only there, because it says so in the blurb. The front one though... That is a serious one!
@@DarksideDevelopments Yeah, that's the theory. In real life, when it's all ends up to be too much of a handfull, even some potholes start to complain...
Ryan, you mentioned if having it lifted on the front, that i may need Bushes 🤔, Mine is having a front lift so can you let me know so I can tell James before it comes in?
hiya darkside, i was thinking about one of these for my amarok, great video. i noticed you have your rear arb fitted down where superpro suggest fitting it up the other way round to yours? what difference does it make having the central bend pointing down instead of up? cheers, pete

A canopy on the back would sort out any weight issue imo. Drove a 3.0 v6 with a decent map (not sure which), some 285/60r18's and a canopy on the back and once i'd gotten used to the truck i was hooning it on back roads (Not in the UK before the fun police start lmao) and it felt like night and day compared to a very similar setup truck without the canopy... Felt fairly planted and i never felt like i was going to lose control.

Getting used to the 10am Sunday uploads!
1st 26 minute video I've watched in a long time with no adds! Loving the work 💪🏻👊🏻

I think you do notice the difference but it could be 2 x thicker. Front one helps a bit IMO

Yeah, it looks too long, maybe even not meaty enough (thats what she said)
More girth is never a bad thing!

It just seemed to fit nicer this way :)
When you pumped up the rear bags and tyres was that enough to quiet the front CV's?
Under load you can still get them to click, diff drop incoming!
What actual wheel alignment specs did you finish with
The Amaroks can be difficult to wheel align due to tyres scrubbing out on outsides
.5 negative camber and a tiny bit of toe in but it needs more!
@@DarksideDevelopments specs mention to put 45kgs in both front seats when doing wheel alignment. Total toe 1.2mm.

Interesting. I'm going to try a bit more toe in so it drives a little straighter and play with the castor!

0.8 degree camber left 0.5 camber right
a little more caster left side due to our roads cambering to left. We also drive on left side.

Have a question
Was wondering if there were any wheel poke on the A5 with the bbs chr 20x11 et25?
Perfect offset!
it looks absolutely amazing.
Whats the max psi for those bags? Looks like could have even done with a bit more than 50psi?
They say 50 but people put over 100 in them?
Whats the difference between installing this sway bar and putting more pressure to the rear suspension support?
I believe it's all about the link between the sides, as depression happens one side it pulls down on the other side giving a flatter ride. /educatedguesswork
Both will do similar jobs in corners really but the rollbar won't do anything going straight but the bags will!

Y cual es el objetivo de instalar ese dispositivo? Que problema tenía la camioneta?
Nothing wrong with it, the video explains and shows what it achieves - less body roll

We can sell the caps if you want some. Can't do anything for the towing on a 2.0 though!
I’ll send you an Email about them tomorrow, I’d like a set if you can!
