Arnold: Chest, biceps, traps Cbum: Legs, back, shoulders Abs is a toss up so it's really more of a tie. It's all a matter of personal preference and I'm going with Cbum👑
This video is very deceiving the way it chooses the images and angles. They are downscaling Arnold while upscaling Chris. In a true side by side Arnold destroys Chris in the upper body while Chris clearly wins the legs. Arnold has said many times though if he were competing today it would be in open class not classic
Hey Jesse . Thanks for your opinion. It was absolute not my intention to deceive in any way . In my opinion Arnold looks better. just his legs are a bit thinner. There is a difference in camera angle , lighting ... Photos nowadays are more clear.. And they are taken to bring more attention to some parts of the body.. Back then they just took photos... especially on stage .. there were less possibilities. I'm not downscaling Arnold . Arnold has better bicep peak and chest. thicker arms .. he looks more natural and proportioned in my opinion. CBum is more shredded, which gives him more definition and 3D effect. But still his upperarms are lacking volume. His shoulders are wider in some shots , but again it depends on the camera angle , the way the BB is flexing , ... i hope that clarifies a little bit ..
yeah Cbum's quads are thicker in most poses. In the 60s- early 70's it was more about good proportion and being lean on stage. The legs had a lot of attention on strength and defenition , but not that much on volume like nowadays.. Also it depends on the pose and how the filming is done , the camera angle , the lighting , ... The photos of Arnold are older and not so clear.. At that time BB's had to train much harder to reach their goals , now they have more supplements and better preparation..
it's true , it was not about volume in the legs back then , good proportion overall was important , i think with the coming of Tom Platz that there was more attention brought to the legs . Thanks for your opinion 🙏🙏 it's great to hear different thoughts about this comparison..

Cbum is more shredded in most shots , that means more 3D effect , and it gives the perception of having ticker muscles , but if you see the weight .. Arnold was slightly bigger in 1970-1974 111-115Kg .. in 75 he was down to 107 Kg and in 1980 he was much too light because he was more concentrated on acting and preparing for the movie Conan the Barbarian..
Yeah ! I have the same thoughts on this. CBum does fantastic in that category , but there is something with Arnold that does place him on another level .. it looks more natural .. ? He has more imposing display

Both muscles and mass and precisely dosed figure + skeleton , nise neck , unreal developed -deep low chest ( they are athletic!!) muscular thighs ,but narrover than the shiulders , the best calves ( and they straighten the legs !!) hervculean muscles on the waist ,dosed trapezius ( aesthetic)famous biceps and shoulders !! A statue that's why they say it's a classic !! He is the eternal number 1 !! The IKON !! One of a kind !!!!!!!

I think a reason the Arnold is best could be due to the fact that he has a heavy frame. He is naturally gifted. Thick ankles > calves.. thick wrists > forearms -arms .. an advantage that makes him look naturally huge .. his frame can carry lots of muscle without looking overdue .. in his younger photos , he is already a heavy strong young kid .. ad the weightlifting and the bonestructure becomes even stronger ..
