This is awesome! Where did you find the midi mapping? I don’t see it on the manual.

There is no direct midi mapping. You kinda have to play around with it. The SUHR manual has a few toggles and others and they’re assigned with PC and/or CC numbers. But what you do is like a combination of the numbers on press and release.

Can you send "tap" signals to set the tempo to the Eccos?

Yeah you can. You can even hold tap to let the feedback run away. You can also double tap bypass to activate select preset mode and use tap to scroll through the presets

@@balmoreruano2537 I mean tap-tempo signals so you can control the delay time from a DAW or another pedal.

Yes you can. You have to experiment with it but the way I do it is I set the press to send a CC message and the release to send another CC message. That then cycles the Micro MIDI to send the necessary tap signals so I can tap a tempo in. You should be able to do something similar with any controller/pedal/daw that can send CC or PC messages over MIDI 5 pin.

Even with the new Morningstar MC8 updates is there no way to control the Eccos with the Morningstar without the Sure midi box interface? Thanks!

I don't think so. I reached out to Morningstar before and they let me know that the MC8 omniports don't send out contact closure controls. Hardware wise I think they're only solution is this www.morningstar.io/relay-interface

Any 1 push preset controls? I'm trying to do a board with the eccos and hydra and want like 4 sounds but would like just the push 1 button per sound.

    Great video!
Can you also utilize midi for the FDBK button via the tap jack when use this midi interface? I currently have a triple aux switch to remotely control the Ecco’s and I’m interested in using my midi controller to fully replace it.

Hey! Had to test this out but yeah if I program a “tap button” on my MC8 I can press and hold it to get feedback. IF you are using presets on your ECCOS make sure your feed back volume is up. If it’s at zero then you won’t be able to get feedback regardless. Took me a long while to figure that out.
