I just caught up with first season. Great show
Glad you'll be covering this! Pronunciations vary if you go by the show, George, or something from the sometimes inconsistent audiobooks. Basically don't sweat it, there's no wrong answer!
sooo many names haha - I hope to at least get them close to how they say them in the show. When I read the book I used a 'k' sound when I said Jacaerys but used an 's' sound for Lucerys - the show uses 's' for both. Can't wait for that dragon battle in the sky though!!!
I hope they stay true to the dance of the dragon's team black 🖤

Big GOT fan and season 1 was great! I'm team Black all the way. Love this cast especially Matt Smith as Deamon. I'm really looking forward to Aemond (eyepatch) in S2, he's the kind of character you love to hate. Really glad you're covering this show!

I don't have HBO but this is something I'll eventually watch later some other way. I luv this kind of stuff and I've watched the previews they are running. I'm enjoying watching you go over all this. There's not many things cooler than watching war with dragons! 😊👍
Team black,Allways! book is how maesters sees the dance so i hope they change a alot. Show is how it happend really! just like martin was saying in the latest interwiews. Dont wanna spoil but i hope they change little bit what happend to daemon in the end!!

I loved Game of Thrones and could watch it over & over again like walking dead. I was disappointed with end like everyone. I thought 1st season of House of Dragon was well done show but I didn’t connect with characters like I did with Game of Thrones. I don’t know if it was time jumps & / or changing of actors…?? Maybe I will with Season 2…. I like Dragons too. They are really cool! I am glad you are going to do a review on it!
Yeah that change of actors hurt the show a little - we may get more time jumps. Who was your favorite character from GoT? I liked Jon Snow but I think Tyrion was my fav. But there were many great ones - The Hound, Arya are two of my fav also!
Yup me too! Jon & Tyrian were my fav’s too. I loved Daenerys, Jamie and Brianne, Arya and Hound’s Arcs too. Your right there is a lot of great story’s and characters in this show. It’s an overall great show that hooked you right from beginning!
@TWDExplained Robb Stark for me...then Jon, Tyrion and Jaime...others in my top 10 are Oberyn, Olenna, the Hound, Theon, Brienne and Arya. That show just has too many phenomenal characters...I could still name 20 more that I absolutely adore.
