This is exciting! I was starting to believe that my dream of becoming a homeowner was a dream deferred due to the inflated homes prices, especially in Atlanta, GA. You can't find an affordable decent looking home here, everything is $300,000 and up. The average person can't afford that. I gave up looking but now I have high hopes with NACA's New Construction Program! Hopefully, soon, I'll achieve my dream of becoming a homeowner of a beautiful new affordable home!

We have been trying to price an Affinity Modular. Today, one of the Affinity reps advised me the quote I received in May is now 10% higher. I advised him lumber prices have tanked so why such a drastic increase in three months. I am waiting on their price but honestly I believe it will be ridiculously expensive.

This is very excellent to hear… I’ve got a local company I’m seeking to work with and I believe I’m very close to being qualified… how would we navigate this option because if I could have a more energy efficient home, I would strongly prefer that? Also would the company designing the homes be opposed to using Hempcrete or Hemp based products in their construction?

I have reached out to multiple people at Naca and Vantem, I am Naca qualified and ready to buy a home but no one has returned my call at either place and no one at Naca can assist me. Is there someone that can actually assist with this?

@@TeeTeeNix I was able to get in touch with Vantem but still not for the Naca homes. I’m going through the process to just buy a modular from them. Praying I can get one of these homes for the price Naca listed.

I will call them to see what areas in the southeast that they build! My mom really wants one of these homes. We fell in love with the Hemby plan!
