Just picked one up, took it out never firing it and laid down 4 deer with 4 bullets. This is my new favorite deer rifle at sub 150 yds. Mine was manufactured 2000ish before the buyout.
@@willhorting5317 I did, it has the iron sighted rings on it. Looked close enough. Actually took it as a spare due to my ATN scope glitching on my 6.5 creedmore
@@HellboundAmerica oh, ok. In your previous comment you stated that, "Just picked one up, took it out never firing it...". THAT is why I didn't think that you had sighted it in. Evidently you know some magic. I have owned guns for the past five decades. And I have never heard of, or seen, anyone sight in a rifle without firing a shot.... even if a bore sight was used initially.
Beautiful rifle. Had one a long time ago. Some special edition Marlin. Had nice walnut and a gold trigger. Got stupid and sold it. Now I'm sportin Henrys.
I just bought a 336W for 327 in Mint condition at a pawn shop . Everyone should own one . Ammo is plentiful even at Wally World. Now that the New Ruger made ones are 1100 plus these will become more desirable even at 500 plus used.
I love my 336Y "Spikehorn". Yes, this senior citizen (me) intentionally bought a "Youth" model about a decade ago. I prefer it's shorter barrel, and when wearing a heavy winter coat, the shorter butt stock mounts my shoulder easier in case I need to take a "snap" shot.
One of my favorite deer calibers! I love reloading for and hunting with 30-30. I have one of the old marlin 36A flat bolt rifles. Great video!!
Thanks, that’s awesome!!!

@@willhorting5317 no magic here, the guy I got it from must of sighted it in pretty good.

The rifle of choice, for this old cowboy 336A❤
Beartooth mercantile has crossbar saftey deletes, cleans up the receiver alot
I got the safety delete for my Rossi R92S. I didn't know you could get one for the 336. Thanks for the info.
Had many rifles in my almost 80 years,😊 my 336A does it all 😊be safe kids ❤
Love my 336
need to move that rear scope ring back, looks like it's making contact with the adjustment knobs. that will affect accuracy
Very Nice Rifle! 👍😊
Thanks

Nice wood on it 👍

I think lever actions are cool cause they remind me of the old west.
I agree!!
Are the new Marlins built as well as the older ones.
They seem to be to me.

What's the grain on that Supreme ammo
I’m not really sure, I didn’t see it on the box but I’ll find out for you
They are 150 grain
@@nickolashunt6362 thanks look like some good ammo like the old 30 30s
It says 170 gr on the box
thought the 336w had a gold trigger
I’m not sure, my dad has one with a gold trigger, mine doesn’t, I’ll do a review on it one day.
