Damn. Not that far off from the Halo Custom Edition segmented run of 1:07. It beats the Halo CE segmented run of 1:16. I realize at this level just 1 minute is a lot though.
Betraying marines stops dialogue that must be gone through before the game continues to move forward with the scripted events, like the drop ships coming down on Halo, or doors being opened on various places throughout the speed run. Stopping the dialogue makes those scripted events start faster.

Talking seriously what could be the shortest theorical amount of time to complete Halo CE on legendary ? 1:08:00, 1:00:00 ? I mean cuz theres a limit no ?
@@zachb1706 Yes. That's the record for a segmented run on Halo custom edition. By using custom edition they could force a checkpoint at any time to get every possible thing perfect. It was a team working on different parts of the game. I'd say you're not gonna get much faster than that run without some new exploits. Pretty much the theoretical fastest run you can do in Halo if you get mad rng and play aggressive and risky. As a side note. Segmented runs are fun to watch, it's just crazy risky shit that always works out because the dude tried it like 50 times before it worked.
