Stalfagel is such an amazing song. I basically only knew that from a RUclips auggestion and went to see them in concert based on that...was not disappointed! Great band, a welcome addition to my selection.
i hope you realise the chance u had to see them live! I wonder when was their last north american, or canadian show. I've been a fan for almost 25 years, one of the few bands i have never saw live...
Probably my favourite album from their discog. Overgivenheten comes really close though. Their last EP was also amazing. Really sad that David Andersson is gone, but here's hoping that the good work will carry on!
How in the world could your favorite album in their discog be their two most recent? Do you honestly feel this way or are you just pandering? Have you heard Natural Born Chaos? A Predator's Portrait? The Living Infinite?
The nurturing glance is instantly one of my favourite songs by Soilwork and i have loved these guys since the release day of Natural born chaos, so the fact that it even breaks through the nostalgia barrier is insane. Well done Soilwork I am honored to be your lifetime fan!
All hail one of the original melodic death metal bands. Even after all the lineup changes over the years (decades even), they still sound like Soilwork, and they do this shit better than most cookie cutter sounding bands.
This is one of the greatest masterpieces in music. I'm a classical pianist with a deep knowledge of high art music from all eras, including chamber music, choral, orchestral, composers such as Bach, Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Medtner, Enescu, and this is up there with the greatest of the great compositions in my opinion. Not because of the intricate counterpoint or thematic development, or even text painting, but because of the way it impacts the listener throughout.
nobody'S talking about Witan? I'm surprised! it's an amazing song! but i kind of understand on a Soilwork album where every song is special and distinguish from the one we just heard before....long live Soilwork! and thank them for every album they gave us since 30 years or so!
Soilwork on this album manages to overcome itself, showing constant maturity in each release, where they always try to diversify the influences and elements placed in each song, making them unique and with a lot of personality.
@@amjan ahahahahah. Omnium Gatherum, Insomnium, The Halo Effect, real melodeath bands that blow IF out of the water. Other than the fact IF has been writing shitty metalcore with altrock since ASOP (including the horribly produced "I, The Mask"), they haven't been the best nor a melodeath band for longer than that
I watch out for free Soilwork to listen in...then, when when i cant stop to headbang, i buy it. I think this LP and the last one Övergivenheten are the next in my Collection of good fuckin Music

One of their best albums. So underrated.
Shout out to bands putting their albums out for free. Gotta be one of my favorite genders.
Free? There is a buy link...

Wonderful in every sense of the word. Much love, Soilwork. The world is a better place for your music. I cannot thank you enough.

Best album of the last few years by any MDM band.

Nope, "I, Mask" by In Flames is the best.

To be fair, by buying albums you support the record label more than the actual bands. Bands make more from touring.
