Owners?? They all did this independent of each other. What's the one thing they all had in common??... " Failed city and county leadership" in Oakland. They all went somewhere where things actually get done instead of three decades of bickering and finger pointing. If the teams that had to bail were important to that city---theyd still be there.
I lived down the street from the Coliseum as a kid and can now see it from my apartment (which is still 15 minutes away). I grew up with all 3 teams in my backyard. It hurts to see them all leave, but I know it's not for no reason. Oakland as a city has been extremely mismanaged.
That's the problem. They are business franchises, not sport clubs like those in Europe where the clubs are part of the community in the town / city they are located at.
When you call yourself "The Town" (as Oakland does), you can't be too surprised when businesses (sports teams included) decide they want to move to more appealing markets. Despite actual market size, Las Vegas feels like a bigger deal than Oakland.
Oakland now has the Roots of the United Soccer League Championship and the Ballers in the Independent Baseball League to rely on. It's sad to see a city that lost all four top-tier Big Four North American sports league teams despite contributing 10 of the 21 San Francisco Bay Area's Big Five North American Pro Sports titles. Hell, Oakland even lost the Panthers Indoor Football League team to San Jose and you guessed it, they won a title.
Raiders and A's fan sense the late 1960's, the failed city and county leadership is mostly to blame. The out side money that those three, Warriors, Raiders and A's brought into that city is done, lost forever. Many like myself only went to Oakland and spent hard earned cash because of those teams. Good job Oakland and Alameda county.
Oakland Ca. is a cesspool if you can't compete with the best in amenities, money, entertainment and stadium operations than you got no business to have any sports teams
A's haven't left yet. Still dependent on whether the Nevada legislature gives them $400 million in taxpayer dollars. Time is running out as they go out of session the first week in June. It's going to be a hard sell after giving the Raiders $750 million.
Shoutouts to that possum. Im glad The Coliseum is serving a purpose
That tells you that there are probably more nesting inside the walls.
LOL
I feel so sorry for Oakland Sports fans. Those owners really screwed the fan based.
Yeah the owners aren't great but the politicians and conditions of the city (its a toxic wasteland) also play a big part.

Nope,,Oakland city council is cheap
@@michaeltamares7974 city council is cheap, yet they had to pay for Mt Davis and are still paying it off to this day.
The raiders are annoyed that the A's are following them lol
Its like the big brother that the little bro keeps following 😂
Mark Davis knows that if the A's arrive, that's going to be a problem for his WNBA team (who only draw about 6,000 despite being a dynasty)
Going from Jolene to Mark Davis was a jump scare I was not prepared for.
God, this video speaks to me. I've been feeling this way for so long and I haven't seen it articulated this way
Yesss, mission accomplished.

Blame the city officials not the teams, Oakland is a dump now
Yes indeed
But vote blue no matter who🤣
You don't enjoy people doing drugs out in the open or busting your car window out in broad daylight?
That's the problem. They are business franchises, not sport clubs like those in Europe where the clubs are part of the community in the town / city they are located at.
If four major sports teams were relocated in Britain or Germany, I genuinely think fans would burn their city to the ground in protest…
....and they all went where business is good.
Thats why the north American model is superior. I don't want nazi freaks at sporting events
Another quality content Ms Jonele Latimer 😍❤️🤩💕
Thanks for the support as always!
oakland is going to be soccer city soon
It won't bring in 1/4 of the outside cash that the Raiders, A's and Warriors brought in on an annual basis.
Yeah a "soccer" city
Soccer: Columbia v. Venezuela. 100,000 with 40,000 women in bikinis walking around...., And I never played soccer. Made me a believer.

Golden Seals is still the coolest name in pro sports
weakest logo everrr
Oakland is a dump on every level that's why they lost all their teams.
Explain cities like Detroit and Baltimore then
@@LOLheyman Oakland is worse than either

Owners that never tried to stay

Sports is all money
Las Vegas A's??? But what if the water runs completely dry??????????
Basically Oakland wants 3 teams to play & share in '66 stadium. Move Better for teams & fans
Best weather year round in all of sports.....,
