Guys, and this actually goes for everything in life: if you see red flags, your Spidey sense kicking in, you’re not getting clear answers, or even if you’re just feeling bad ju ju about something - RUN. Turn around, leave, and never look back. We have a sixth sense for a reason and we shouldn’t ignore it. When we question our natural instincts and choose to ignore our urge to get away, trouble is right behind. In this situation, there are enough plastic surgeons in the world. We have lots of choices. We don’t need some elusive, non transparent, cheap clinic to mess with our faces. ☮️
They’re not only messing with their face or body, but also with their life and overall health. I’ve heard of so many cases of women going to Mexico to get plastic surgery only to return in a casket or with a horrible bacterial infection that ends their life in a matter of days, or with long term health effects. It’s absolutely not worth it to play with your life like that just for vanity, it’s crazy!
You are correct but I will give you one example as to why that is not gonna happen: People. You will always have hacks promising to give you what you have and a LOT of people are buttfuck dumb enough to just do things they fully know can kill them and are sus af. Dr Link here reviewed a video of a vietnamese(?) trans person who got cheap filler injections and then boom, paralyzed face and scarring. Brazilian Buttlifts can easily kill you, yet women are doing it en masse, some of them getting CEMENT shot up their asses. People get made crazy about their looks and they quite literally run to everyone who will help their perceived ailments for a penny. Same with post birth surgeries for women to get "back into shape" unless you die from the plethora of surgical complications you get.

Thank you for the reminder about anesthesia. As a natural redhead, I have experienced problems with anesthesia (waking up in the middle of surgery). I can't imagine flying to China, where they do not have natural redheads and are likely unaware of this issue, and having it happen. I'm glad now that anesthesiologists seem to be aware of it now... about 30 years since it happened to me. I always am sure to mention it pre-op!
YESSSS i was waiting for you to react to this!! i genuinely feel so bad for the patients, i can't imagine going out of an operation expecting the surgery went well but only ending up finding yourself with more body dysmorphia/insecurities :(
Had a 7 1/2 hr surgery to reconstruct hand after accident that severed everything except 1 tendon in my little finger. I can’t imagine what kind of work would take 6+ hrs. That’s really scary. Btw the team of surgeons (4+) did amazing job on my hand. The results are far better than they even expected!😁
There is much to be said about this. I wanted to wait until aging really set in before deciding about plastic surgery. Aging involves a lot of loss, mainly identity. It is hard to come to accept this. But after watching Gary and other surgeons for a few years I am finally over the hump. I have to acceptance and I am staying as is. I have learned that the risks and money were not worth it. I learned I need to set an example for my granddaughter, that is to accept who she is (which right now is a beautiful teen). But what finally sealed the deal was when I aged to point that I see my beloved grandmother in my face. I plan to keep her around. 🙂
@cellgrrl I love and relate to all you've said. ❤️ I'm the only person in my family who looks like my Dad. It is becoming more noticeable with age and, like you and your Grandmother, I want to keep his likeness around. It's also interesting, though, at times not always easy, to see how our natural appearances evolve.
Dr Gary watching a video from Tuv?! This is so crazy and not on my 2024 bingo card! I watched Tuv since he was a smaller creator! Glad his video is mentioned! He did an amzaing job on this investigation
I've been following Dr.Gary for a few yrs and he's 💯 on point with his entire analysis! You get what you pay for, and with your face, you can't risk the results to the cheapest surgeon!
Genuinely these pictures of the results give me pure fear and chills. I have such a bad fear response to them. I would be terrified to look at them in person lol
I think of an ancient saying a local plastic surgeon in New Hampshire had on brochures and I remember after many years “my duty is to restore and make whole that which nature has given but fortune has taken away not so much that it may please the eye but that it may buoy up the spirit and help the mind of the afflicted “ btw surgeon Dr Zeff stratham New Hampshire
The creepy photo of the man with the straight mouth looks eerily like a guy on the comedy show Impractical Jokers from an episode 9 years ago. This particular guy marries Sal's sister on the show.
I had a double mastectomy and I remember how thorough the surgeon was during our consultation, discussing what I wanted, what my concerns were, what was possible, what approach would be best... plus discussing physical activity and how that would effect my results both before and after surgery. I got a fantastic result that healed almost perfectly. I can't imagine how that process would have gone if I just sent photos -- and the surgeon already had access to my medical records. Just seems like a scary prospect to trust a stranger with your face without meeting them in person and having them assess you in three dimensions. If I ended up unhappy with the results of my surgery, it wouldn't be great but everyone wears a shirt almost all the time. How are you supposed to hide your face if you're unhappy with facial surgery?
They are still there. It's because his lips are very thin. With the facelift, his mouth look larger and the results is that the lips looks thinner. They are in place for sure, he need them for sure! The weekest point of that surgeon is he didn't correct that with is work. The final look is weard....
I strive to be on your level of calm 😂. You're very professional! I can tell you're great at what you do! Love the content. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and opinions. Its very interesting!
When Dr. Gary asked, "I wonder if they would subject him to the same type of lifting" I lost it... bc I was wondering the same thing! From grandma to 7th grader is crazy!
Way back in the 1970's my artsy/craftsy Aunt made "apple-head dolls". She inserted beads for eyes and rice as teeth. As the "apple-head" aged, it took on a spooky and quite frankly, uglier appearance, which was the goal and intent. Some of the patients discussed remind me of apple-head dolls.
Thank you for great advices Dr. Gary. Some things seem to be so simple, but it is important to tell people. Like "don't trust random accounts because they are cheap".

The 78 year old woman has like 10 years left to live... how have they not come to terms with aging? Come to terms with beauty not being everything? Accepted who she is on the inside at LEAST enough to say it's not worth risking the last decade I have.
My dad had stage iv head and neck cancer twice and has had 24 hours of surgery on his face in the last several years. Every time his face was operated on, his head swelled up like a bowling ball. They gave him a trach for one sugery and these things in his nostrils for the others, just to protect his airway. He didnt have much bruising even when they removed his mandible, but boy did he swell up.
@@merrywalsh2809 No it doesn't, it depends on how you look. Ugly people live in a different universe when it comes to any superficial contact with strangers, and even if people like the 21 year old gentleman love to say things such as "you're beautiful just the way you are", that is just a lie for a lot of people. Aging takes a toll on your body and mind, you do not improve with age in any real capacity. That's why cosmetic surgery is a thing, people wouldn't even think of going under the knife if they didn't feel miserable about their own appearance at some point.
@@Hack3r91 I hear what you are saying, but ugly and old are different issues. How we treat them is much the same though, and there is a lot we can do to improve upon those situations. We can maintain ideal weight and muscle mass, good grooming, a positive attitude, no smoking, alcohol in moderation, and the list goes on. And yes, seek plastic surgery if you have the desire and means. If you don’t have the means, save. If you can’t save, then accept that with grace or figure out how you might get to that point. I am 73. I have done all of the above. I was never the attractive one, but I feel it in my soul anyway, lol.
@@merrywalsh2809 I completely agree, the best thing you can do is maintaining a positive attitude about yourself and strive to become the best version of yourself! I'm sorry if I came off as excessively jaded in my previous comment, it's just that I've seen people being treated as less than human just for their looks and I feel that we'd really not be helping their case by saying that it doesn't matter, or that it's just shallow, because ultimately most of your interactions are going to be shallow and human nature can be extremely vile and cruel.

I want only a subtle lip lift and some laser resurfacing, that's it. Doing too much of any cosmetic procedure always makes people look deformed, it's like people are forgetting what a normal human looks like and it's very upsetting.
The boy is absolutely right. I went for a surgery by a doctor in Dominican Republic. Not only did I pay for a facelift which I didn't get ( according to two other plastic surgeons) but I had the same forehead that dr Kim gives and gouges in my cheeks that have cost me thousands to try and fix. The emotional toll it takes on you are nothing short of suicidal. The medical travel company said they would refund a part of my money ONLY after I sent them the doctor's advice from here because the pictures of the mess didnt mean anything. Then the gaslighting just got worse and four years later I have a botched face and no money refunded. Medical travel is the biggest scam ever!
Dr Gary can you please break down the procedures “Dr Kim” is doing? I’m really curious as to why the ears point forward afterwards and the earlobes are flipped up. I can see the hairline incision but are there also incisions around the eyes? Can you please break it down for us like you do in your celebrity plastic surgery videos and tell us what you think may have taken place? Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. 🙏😊
I have recently found your site and I just love it. You have a wonderful way of explaining everything and if I lived in USA I would be coming to you asap! Not related to this particular video however, My teenage son is coming down with what appears to be alopecia areata and I instantly thought of you as I’ve been following your hairloss journey for a few years. Poor kid has had so many medical issues and hospital stays it just seems unfair he’s been dealt another blow. Seeing you with facial hair now makes me feel more positive that we can get his hair growing again. Being a teen isn’t easy especially with ASD, ADHD and everything else he’s dealing with. Thanks for all the information you put forth.
I agree, Dr. Linkov. 8 to 10 hours of elective surgery on a person in their mid to late 70s is outrageous. It's not just that one has to worry about compromising the cardio-vascular system but being under anesthesia for such a long period of time can compromise cognitive functions. This is an even bigger problem than something associated with the heart. A lot (not a few) people in this age range who are subjected to this (prolonged anesthesia) rapidly develop signs of senile dementia after their procedure.
After falling down a flight of stairs while on pain medications for cancer, I am so grateful that I can live a normal life. Fracturing my lower eye orbit bone left me with a face and eye that I would not have gone out in public with. I am also grateful for my breast surgeon. Thank you to these doctors who gave me my life back.
There's only one fully healed video on one of their pages. The result after a year looked really good; although the woman did NOT show how her scars healed over time.

Yes Gary looks amazing, he was always handsome, I’m really happy for him.
They look like cat people. It's truly terrifying 😳
That's what I thought! They look like cats, especially the first guy!
"Yes, doc, I'd like the 'Maureen Ponderosa'" *hissssss*
Most have lifts looks like this within a week after. They would look more relaxed down the line
It's amazing how many Surgeons don't know that fish oil and other supplements should be stopped before the surgery.
Omg idk that was a thing
Love your hair BTW red hair is so pretty
I never heard about that, how being a natural redhead is related to have more risk with anesthesia ? i'm curious
@@tr4sh.doll_I’m not positive, but I think it’s a genetic connection between red hair and whatever it is that makes you have issues with anesthesia
My husband, also a redhead, has the same issue. I had to tell his dentist to give him extra novocaine.
this video and your narration really amplifies you integrity!
AGREED! How can anyone not trust Doc Gary implicitly. 🤔🤔
YESSSS i was waiting for you to react to this!! i genuinely feel so bad for the patients, i can't imagine going out of an operation expecting the surgery went well but only ending up finding yourself with more body dysmorphia/insecurities :(
Dr. Kim’s name should be “Dr. Frankenstein,” instead. 😖
Extra points for knowing that the doctor's name was Frankenstein, not the Monster's lol
It just reminds me of the movie "Face Off!!" 😂😅
He's actually from Gotham City
feels correct
Frankimstein if you will
Had a 7 1/2 hr surgery to reconstruct hand after accident that severed everything except 1 tendon in my little finger. I can’t imagine what kind of work would take 6+ hrs. That’s really scary.
Btw the team of surgeons (4+) did amazing job on my hand. The results are far better than they even expected!😁
Whatever happened to aging gracefully? I earned my grey hair and wrinkles! I use sunscreen and moisturizer for health, but I am happy being a grandma!
Aging really is something to be grateful for. Many people don't get the chance to experience it...
more people need your healthy mentality!
Social media has really ruined people’s perceptions
Why every after surgery picture look like shocked pikachu face
😂 hahaha yes!
“What do you mean? Of course she’s 3 dimensional?” idk why that entertained me so much lmaoo😂😂
Your professionalism, knowledge and empathy is very clear, I appreciate your approach and how you voice yourself. Obviously a great doctor.
Dr.Gary seems so honest,so good man
Tuv! Oh man. Love that guy. Everyone should subscribe to him. He makes great videos. Thanks dr for reacting to him hehe 🙏🏽💕
Crazy to see him on this channel almost LOL!!!! 😆
Doc reacting to a tuv video is awesome
yes!! I agree!! Tuv is blowing up bc he got mentioned on edvasion's channel too
They took the first dudes lips I am a frighten
No. He really need some fillers there.
His lips are removed completely
They are still there. It's because his lips are very thin. With the facelift, his mouth look larger and the results is that the lips looks thinner. They are in place for sure, he need them for sure! The weekest point of that surgeon is he didn't correct that with is work. The final look is weard....
I thought I was the only one trying to figure out where his lips were 😂
Dr. Kim aka The Joker. His slogan, "why so serious, let me put a smile on that face".
I strive to be on your level of calm 😂. You're very professional! I can tell you're great at what you do! Love the content. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and opinions. Its very interesting!
Thanks for looking into this. I was very curious to see what a board certified plastic surgeon about this mess!
When Dr. Gary asked, "I wonder if they would subject him to the same type of lifting" I lost it... bc I was wondering the same thing! From grandma to 7th grader is crazy!
i really like this plastic surgeon, he keeps it real
It's surgery plus filters. I want to see the results without any filter attached.
TUV has an in-depth followup!
You’re such a nice surgeon- love that you don’t push that plastic surgery is always the answer
Thank you for great advices Dr. Gary. Some things seem to be so simple, but it is important to tell people. Like "don't trust random accounts because they are cheap".
I love Tuv and you this is an INSANE overlap in two tubers I really like. This is so crazy!!!! Thank you for reacting I hope you guys were happy to work with each other 😍😍😍
When I first saw this, by the thumbnail, I thought tuv was reacting to you being TikTok’s scariest surgeon haha 😆
Love love love dr. Gary!! What a wonderful beautiful human being :) Imagine if all the doctors out there would be as responsible and as really caring as him
How do we get those emojis?
I think it's a 12 yr old trolling us with photoshop
😂
nah unfortunately, its way worse. they are getting profits from these people's insecurities in a dangerous way
Dr.Gary, I love your video's! I'm a med-surg RN and had to go home sick today. Your voice and comments reduce my anxiety. :)
The patient’s eyes look elongated & black eye liner
Thank your for always sharing such a transparent educated perspective
He’s making them look like comic villains not human beings 😮
Anyone else super excited to see two of their favorite channels colliding?? 🤯🤭 I got so excited when I saw you made this video!
People start treating you so differently as you start to age it's very depressing
It all depends on your own attitude and what you project. That is what you get back, I have found.
There's a lady at my work in her 60s that gets invited to all the after work hangouts with the 20 somethings cause she's so fun and full of life still! Don't give up!
I'm 63 and I thought I was to old for surgery, I wish I could afford wrinkle remover but in their 30's it's unbelievable.
Your not too old. You can still have something softly done (neck, under eyes, etc.) You need to have a very good surgeon.
I agree. My Mom had an eyelid lift we really get saggy eyelids from my GPa. Anyways considering you can live well into your 90's. If your in good health and can afford it, do it!! 🥳
I want only a subtle lip lift and some laser resurfacing, that's it. Doing too much of any cosmetic procedure always makes people look deformed, it's like people are forgetting what a normal human looks like and it's very upsetting.
Your voice is soo calming i wish someone made a 1 hour loop of just your voice to fall asleep to or just relax in general.
Im so glad youre covering this! I watched Tuv's content & thought he did a GREAT job, but the whole time I was craving an actual surgeons opinion 👀
I’d love to know too!
I'm so glad you did a video on this! Thought of you as they were popping up on my feed
As someone who can watch bloody surgeries and is completely fine why did these results make me nauseous 😩 Sad, these people think it’s okay😕
Good for this investigative guy! He really did his job!
Loving the facial hair on ya doc
Dr Linkov, I love your attitude, and your deep-dive explanations.
Why is everything in China so seedy
And why is it spreading throughout the world?
My concern is the mass production of shoddy plastic items that the entire world ends up dumping in landfill.
I have recently found your site and I just love it. You have a wonderful way of explaining everything and if I lived in USA I would be coming to you asap! I mean for surgery but if for nothing else just to sit and listen to your voice, it is so calming and therapeutic. Your knowledge on your subject is excellent, thank you.
Scars are the least of their problems 😮
your voice is so relaxing
The first guy genuinely scares me
After falling down a flight of stairs while on pain medications for cancer, I am so grateful that I can live a normal life. Fracturing my lower eye orbit bone left me with a face and eye that I would not have gone out in public with. I am also grateful for my breast surgeon. Thank you to these doctors who gave me my life back.
The whole Kardashian/Jenner clan will look like melted candles in about 10 years.
Mama don’t look like melted candles after 20 years surgery.
I wish they do but $ does miracles 🫠
There's only one fully healed video on one of their pages. The result after a year looked really good; although the woman did NOT show how her scars healed over time.
I’ve seen some after videos of these patients. Like many months later and I have to say, they look pretty good. Once the healing dies down and things settle. I haven’t seen any of the men but the women I did see look younger and better then before.🤷🏽♀️
OMG i love tuv! And you!! Glad for your expertise and insight! ❤
What a cool surgeon
Wish I could meet him
Love to your beautiful family
I could listen to your voice all the time. Its soooo manly, i love it.
Another creator with a degree in photography analysed the photos and yes, while the surgery is probably extreme, the retouching is even more so.
Dr Gary, you seem very trustworthy!!
Thank you for the content! 💜🙏💜
Everyone looks like a goblin after the surgery. It's creepy.
Love Dr. Youn!
The two of you are the best.
What a crossover😂
I just finished reading the DUNE book series and the whole time I was wondering “where are the aliens”.. but now I realized that humanity spread through the galaxy and became the aliens.
The aliens were long before, they are the unknown evil in the future.
Would be good to see you do a breakdown of Eminem over the years
Thanks for making videos I really enjoy your content
They kind of all look the same to me. They need to wait until the healing is complete.
Thank you so much for your wise counsel related to plastic surgery.☺️
