- We're BBK! Get it! right? no? Nevermind. After a good few months of not being able to make videos (thanks Covid!) We were finally allowed to meet again a month or so ago and decided it was time to fit the FN2 with some nice juicy Brembo Big Brakes.
This video is by no means a step by step guide, but just shows the process of getting them on and some first impressions, including trying to scare Calum when stamping on the brake pedal!

welcome back.
Yesss, you guys are actually one of my favourite channels to watch. Mainly because both your cars are ones im considering next😂
This means a lot to us man! Let us know what your choice is as and when you get your next car 😎
Nice job! However for £60 extra you should have fitted HEL braided lines at the same time
A great upgrade for the car. Glad to see u both back, thought you had given up on the channel.
Thanks for the kind words.
We were never going anywhere at all, it's just that we really couldn't film during lockdown haha
Keep on seeing you about. Not long got my first fn2, red one that was tailing you up befford Road one morning. Loving the car, great fun to drive.
Ohhhh yeeeessss, I remember it was really early in the morning right?
Nice car - what do you plan to do with it?
Brilliant, looks great, I really fancy this kit for my sapphire blue fn2!
It is a great kit - one of the best mods I've done to the car thus far 👌🏾
Definitely a MOD I need for my FN2 👍
Would highly recommend. Get some decent pads too whilst you're at it, it's worth the money :)
Glad you are happy with your BBK kit. I have c hooks and ferrodo pads and my brakes stop anazing. No lack of confidence in braking at all.
Nice - do you have the same kit or standard setup?
@@jcscarculture5267 standard refurbed calipers, so standard setup. And honestlt i don't understand why people complain about the brakes as mine stop on point with zero fade.
I will say that upgrading pads and discs does make a world of difference but, for me at least, it just doesn't feel like it's enough. I did upgrade the braking fluid which helped with fade (though I should've upgraded the lines too) but I just wasn't happy with them in all honesty!!
If I were, I could've saved myself a lot of money 😂
@@jcscarculture5267 i bet you if you test mine you will be shocked how great they are. I was impressed, even my 4 pots don't have the initial bite that they have
That's interesting. I would love to see what that sort of setup would be like because the initial bite is what I felt was really lacking with the standard setup haha.
Did you have 4 pots on the FN2?
Good upgrade
Hi. Ik this vid was posted over a year ago. But im possibly buying some evo 4 pot brembos. Are they the same as these or smaller?
Nice video guys. Thinking of ordering the same kit. Were your 15mm spacers big enough for the clearance required? Love the wheel colour. I want to do mine in grey too 👍 Cheers 😀
Thanks man, very much appreciated!
And yes, the 15mm spacers were enough to clear the brakes. The wheels are a nice colour, I need to get them refurbed 😅😅
@@jcscarculture5267 cheers buddy 👍
What colour are the alloys?
nice vid, what size wheel spacers did you use to clear the BBK?
Thanks! I've got 15mm spacers on the front and 20mm at the back. The 15mm is more than enough 👍🏽
Nice job I had 4 pots on my previous FN need to invest in a new set, where did you pick these up from?
Stopping power is unreal with BBK
Undecided with brembo or yellow speed big brake kit
Thanks! A company called Freaky Parts LTD supplied the whole kit - check them out if you're interested.
I did look at the yellow speeds to be fair and was very close to getting those but apparently the maintenance cost of the brembos are significantly cheaper, so I went with them instead.
Hope that helps your decision 😎
@@jcscarculture5267 Yeah nice one just saw their brakes online quite reasonably priced you may be right about yellow speed as you'd be restricted to only going Tegiwa to buy the bits you need and prices can spike whereas with brembos more choices
Them 4pots are brilliant deffo need a big brake kit as supercharging the FN in the next few weeks insurance not mega steep considering I'm in North London!
Niiiceee, what kit have you gone for? And how much power are you looking at?
@@jcscarculture5267 I managed to source a Jackson race charger should make in the region of 320-330bhp hopefully
Niiiicee. That will move and sound awesome when it's done. You sure will need a BBK at that power 😅

😂😂😂😂😂
