Thanks for the great content! But your great audio quality is what convinced me to subscribe. I hate listening to so many you tubers who record with a cheap microphone halfway across the room picking up all the hollow ambient reverb. Your audio is about the best I've heard! So clear and clean. Thanks!
Thank you so much that means a lot! Audio was something I wanted to focus on. I also have a hard time watching videos with poor audio. Thank you for subscribing as well. Happy New Year!
Thanks for demoing the conveyor system! That's what I'm most interested in and it's been hard to find a demo. I'd love that riser base too, sign me up!
Good question. I would think you could cut also. As long as you don't remove material that is riding on the conveyor tracks or rollers. It would take some trial and error for sure.
Just got my S1 and thinking I want that Conveyor system but alas I must wait to get it. I am I love with my S1 so far. Hopefully I didn’t miss your give away. Thank you for the lovely demo and I am a new subscriber
So for the conveyor, you need a pretty large foot print area, correct ? How heavy is the system ? Could it be moved to a larger area when you want to use the conveyor ??
I dont know if the giveaway is still active as its been a month, but I just recently started my LLC, Effortless Engraving and my first tool is the S1, im very excited as it should show up to my door tomorrow. Im kind of winging it at this point but im very excited to try! Slow motion is better then no motion as I say, and I've never started anything like this in my life so im excited to see where this takes me! Thanks for the information !
Is the laser still class 1 compliant with the conveyor attachment. Will I need laser shades if I use it? Would like to see the install. Was the reason I watched the video and you skipped that part.
I'm sure that you wont ship to London England, but I'll shortly be purchasing an S1. Excellent review on the conveyor BTW.. I was wondering how they work.
Thanks for this video. I’d like to ask your opinion. I got the whole shooting match from XTool; the S1, 40w head, 2w ir head, riser base, conveyor, rotary tool. I will be jumping back and forth in metal, wood, acrylic and leather, as well as using the rotary tool and occasionally using the conveyor, mostly for cutting large leather projects. So, my question is, Should I keep the riser on all the time? And should I keep the conveyor attached, even if I only need it about 10% of the time? I’m trying to figure out the best way to not have to spend lots of time swapping things in and out. I’d love your thoughts. Thanks.
If it were me, I'd only have the conveyor attached when I need to use it. My main reason is due to smoke control. Having the conveyor installed means the riser doors are down and more smoke/fumes can escape the exhaust. If your work area is more open or ventilated than mine it may not be that big of a deal. Thanks for the question and for watching!
@@Neo7CNC Thanks. I currently have my hose in a third party air filter. It works really well and is essentially the same as the one that xTool sells, but for less than 1/3rd the price. I haven’t used the conveyor yet, as it came just a day ago. Thanks so much for letting me know about the fumes. I guess I have to figure something out.
Thank you for these detailed videos. You’re the only one I’ve seen demonstrate the conveyer. I’m also interested in your upcoming F1 videos and would love your thoughts on the F1 vs the S1 as a first laser purchase. I’m leaning toward the S1 due to versatility and safety features (I’ve got kids), but the F1 is a lot cheaper and would likely fit upwards of 75% of the immediate ideas I have for laser products. I suppose if I win the base, that’d make the choice easier.
Nice add-ons. I just got my S1 yesterday and am looking forward to using it with their software. I'm more into Lightburn. Would like to see those add-ons working with Lightburn hopefully in the near future. Thank you for the video!
Hey, You're the winner of the S1 riser base. Please look at my latest video to see how to get in touch with me so I can get it on the way to you. Congrats!!
been using my s1. I do like it a lot, I have it exhausting to the outside, but is still a bit smokey though. I did put a additional fan on the exhaust to help since it is going through 2 90 degree turns. I kind of wish they had put the air intake on the right side and front instead of the left and front so that its drawing the air out from more of the entire housing. I also wish there was a way to keep the exhaust turned on longer once its finished. Eventually I will buy the riser and the rotary tool. but going to pay this off first.
@Neo7CNC We are New to the Laser community and i purchased the S1 for my wife. She had just purchased the D1Pro, then S1 launched same day the D1 Pro was delivered. XTool let me return the unit for a full refund and they covered shipping back! The riser base is on her wish list as well as the rotary and conveyor... Times are hard for some of us so the S1 was a lot to shell out, but for safety reasons i felt it was a better fit than the D1 Pro! Channels like yours are such a HUGE help to all of the newbies and i cannot thank you enough for your well done videos and reviews! Thank you so much!
Unfortunately we here in yhe UK cannot get access to this piece of kit i want it desperately but no we and the whole of eurpoe cannot have it i cant even get it shipped from US CA or AU infeel conned as i wanted to make items 1200mm long im furious actually with Xtool and expressed it to them ,and even tho this S1 is awesome i will be selling it as well as my F1 and D1 i will no longer spend my money on xtool after their poor strategy on this 2600 is alot of money to then not be able to use the machine to its and my potential....shame
@Neo7CNC I will continue being a faithful subscriber to your channel. I'm new to the laser world. But your videos encourage me to step out of my comfort zone. Maybe one day I'll post one of my projects. Thanks again!
Thanks for not doing an unboxing, 90% of the time i skip them. This was a great video.
Just got our S1 yesterday. Your videos are very informative, to the point. Thank you. Would love to own the conveyer system.

Thanks for demoing the conveyor system! That's what I'm most interested in and it's been hard to find a demo. I'd love that riser base too, sign me up!
Thank you for the video. I just got my S1 After seeing your video I need to get the feeder for my S1. I can see myself doing a lot of cool projects.
Well done. I had firmware issues out of the box but were resolved with help from X Tool crew
Excellent video. My family got me the xTool S1 for Christmas. Your videos have really helped. Thank you for sharing them.
So glad to help! Enjoy the S1 and thanks for watching!
Thanks for the demo, I haven’t used mine yet- question, can you cut using the conveyer or just engrave ?
Good question. I would think you could cut also. As long as you don't remove material that is riding on the conveyor tracks or rollers. It would take some trial and error for sure.

I would love to see more videos on the conveyor. Wondering how to best setup for this.

Loved your video, always eager to learn more on my S1!
Thank you for your info! It was very helpful!
Hi what is the thickest it will cut on pine or ply?
I bought S1 40W, but didn’t have chance to use it yet. And I didn’t get conveyor for it, so I’m very happy to see this video. Thanks! :)
Thank you for your video. I’m very new to the laser world and I appreciate all of the information you’re giving.
im from the Netherlands and today my new S1 is shipt out! love your channel!

Great video! Been pondering that riser base :)
I would love to have the riser base to go with the S1 that’s in my shopping cart
I have the same setup I wish I had more time to play with it
Does the conveyor work with lightburn?
Well done, concise videos that do a great job covering the declared topic
Is there light leakage around the conveyor? I know with the riser base they fix that.
With the conveyor installed there is light leakage as the riser doors have to be open. They did include safety glasses with the conveyor.
@@Neo7CNC ok good to know. I thought so. I'll make sure if I use it I keep the pets out of the room.
Its not availibel in EU right?

What you got behind the curtain Wizard of Oz?
Why does the conveyor come with goggles if the S1 is a Class 1 laser?
Almost first.
So close :)
