Dimapur (Nagaland) June 14 (ANI): In a major boost to connectivity, Nagaland saw its first tunnel breakthrough which has 86.3km long Broad Gauge (BG) line connecting Dhansiri-Zubza in Chumoukedima village on June 7. The foundation stone of the ongoing ‘Dimapur-Kohima new broad gauge Line project’ was laid in August 2016 by the then Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu. This show focuses on the northeast in its entire dimension and brings you the changing mood and tenor of the region in all its colors.

Old Railway station In Naginimora town (Mon district, Nagaland) must revive again. It will help in connecting the Eastern Nagaland with the rest of the world. And it will also help in boosting the economy of the State. As there is Nagaland's largest coal field(borjan) just 11 km away from the town. And there is also many natural resources like bamboo, stone mining, wood(log), etc.
It will be good if Government takes an initiative.

why nagaland government is so slow in land availability for railway. after so many requests, only 25percent land has been allocated for this rail line.

I am Engish. In 1965 I spent 7 months in India travelling by bus, train and boat and sometimes bike. I went north, south, west and east but I was arrested trying to enter Nagaland and put back on a returning train. I did not understand why at the time and all these years later I still find it puzzling. Nagaland was well known to my generation in England as the scene of fierce fighting during the War, hence my interest. I am rather sadden to read some quite harsh words about the Nagas. None of us are perfect and we are all victims of the society we are brought up into. We all need to respect that. I have travelled extensively through many countries and everywhere I have been given the greatest welcome. We are basically the same, trying to get by and do our best for our families and friends. I have fondest memories of my time in India but have always wondered why I was arrested, not a very pleasant thing to happen to an innocent traveller.

You need to have an inner line permit for visiting nagaland
If you don't follow laws , obviously you will be arrested
Thank God the workers are not from NAGALAND or else they will just take away the money and the work would be pending for centuries.

Because the oldest railway in Nagaland at Naginimora (Mon) is neglected. We just cannot go down to zubza to travel by train or have to find other means of transport to reach there.
