That era was a whole different time. Social media was in its adolescent stage, didn’t take over every facet of society yet. People still had Cable TV and streaming hadn’t made such a big splash. Datpiff, WorldStar, LiveMixtapes, and RUclips were where you found your music.Message boards were still around. 2010-2015 was the best time in the 2010’s era. Dont feel the same about the 2020’s but maybe it’s because I’m older now.

If you mean xavier wulf there are lots of his tracks that sound similar such as his mixtape with bones " Lame " and his 2013 projects, if you are interested in similar sounding beats you can check "e v e 生きている" an artist who is mainly inspired by eric dingus music
