Because terran didn't already have a really "strong vs armor" unit already. I doubt people will use the warhound much. If those would have been stimmed marauders, the stalkers would have died much much faster.
but warhounds are better vs. colossus than marauders and probably have more hp (meaning they can soak more dmg from storm). Also factory tech so likely 3 or more siege tanks will be added which makes mech good vs. high templar and warhounds good vs. colossus
The visual design of these units looks pretty stupid, but I think they will be really useful in combat, especially for destroying those ever annoying tank lines.
So now stalkers are even worse vs terran...chargelots get roasted by Battle Hellions...Colossi die to Warhounds even worse, and templar get emp'd or sniped by ghosts...fuck this im switching races
I really hope they change the design of the warhound, i think it's fucking ugly, but that's just my opinion. It's Beta, so it's possible that they might change some unit designs, right?, or the designs are definitive?
I dunno about the design, it looks crap, its just a a move unit and nothing special, just like a mech marauder. I know they want to give mech more options, but this is just the wrong way.

at this point, the only things that a stalker can kill quickly are scvs and hellions
It doesn't fire haywire missile unless you're targeting mech, which actually promotes micro and deters a-move.

Nothing should counter a unit as hard as that. That's kinda dumb imo.
