I've been a professional window cleaner, pressure and soft washer since 2000. I can't thank you enough for videos like this, they keep me busy! And removing hard water stains from glass amd frames as well as fading in all the "sweep marks" on concrete is a premium charge! Keep up the good work! For everyone else, call an actual professional, not someone trying to sell you a junky pressure washer!
I love your perspective Anthony, got to always find the positive 👏🏻💰😆
For those that can’t afford a professional the rejuvenate window cleaner is a solid option and just attaches to a hose.
This is the comment I came here for. Anthony I have just invested in a soft wash and power wash truck and my windows are coming out like garbage. So many hard water spots it’s driving me nuts. Using my house wash on them and not sure how to get rid of them. Would live some tips and advice.
@@mnicholson213 try adding a water softener to your water, and wiping dry what you can with a microfiber towel, microfiber is amazing
@@mnicholson213 use less soap and pre rinse alll the time before chem
Hey I'm also a window cleaner and power washer. Does this not leave streaks ?
Really helpful for clean my windows before winter in Michigan 😍. Thank you
Yes! Get them clean before that winter hits!
Just an observation being a window cleaner for decades. I do new home construction windows and some places I pressure wash porches. I notice that if a pressure washer is used on glass there is a lot of hard water spots ve windows I tap wash and rinse. I have to scrub and scrape the glass so I rinse and brush or pad scrub using a Turtle wax spot free car wash soap, no wax type. I do add a bit of eco soap and dishwasher rinse aid. Prince good with a final flow rinse. Let dry, very few spots and I don't have to squeegee or go over with pure water.
Option 1 looks like a winner for me
Love the pressure washer
Try disconnecting garden hose from tap...give a quick squeeze of Dawn dish soap in the hose..reconnect and spray away..its easy rinses off great..just repeat as you move around the house
Perfect! I hate cleaning windows. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks for the advice 👍🏻
I just pressure washed our 2-story house the other week. Used a Simple Green solution and an add-on extension pole handle to reach the top instead of of ladder.
Sounds like a great solution Gregory, nice work!
solid video, inspiring interactions with the comments too! thanks for creating and sharing!
Thank you for saying so! Causing quite the controversy in the comments LOL but hey just showing off some simple tips I do at home
First time homeowner...gunna have to take look at this system! Also, daddy needs a new Ego blower! Fingers crossed 🤞
This is such a great tip! I need a pressure washer too!
Thanks Lindsey!
WOW.... This is awesome
Gosh...I need to get this!! I have severe Arthritis and do not dare get on a ladder and cannot afford someone else to do it!! Thank you SO much!!
You’ll love the Rejuvenate! Thanks for watching 😁
The turbo nozzle isn't for "more power" to reach the second story. It makes the water come out in a spiral pattern, like the spiral on a turbo. It provides multi-directional cleaning without having to constantly move the pw wand. Think of it like an orbital sander. You wanted the yellow nozzle for higher pressure to reach that second floor. Great video though!
Clearly a great video tutorial for all of us ordinary do it ourself folks
Thanks for this well done performance by non actress real personality
She doesn't just clean on tv these are her windows
Thanks so much for the nice comment and for watching, I so appreciate it!!!!
Do you not have to dry them off after?
Love this information
Thank you!
Great video! I must say red is definitely your color!
So kind of you to say, thank you Anthony on both compliments!
Nice!
Great vid!
Thanks Paul!
I have to try that!
Yes you do! Let me know how it goes :)
Power wash with the cleaner....so easy. ty!
I do and it works fantastic! Thanks for your feedback and for watching!
Where you get the rejuvenet product ?
Hi Erika, sorry for the late reply, their website or any Home Depot, Lowes, or Amazon www.rejuvenateproducts.com/
Do you have to remove all the screens first?
Hello! Great question. You do not. It will clean those too and not damage them.
You don't have to remove screens if you are using low pressure. But if your are using any pressure then a REAL professional will tell you yes. Remove them to ONE... not damage them with pressure. And TWO screens need to be scrubbed to clean. You can't just spray them down. You ever spray a screen clean just to put it back and notice once its dry it looks dirty again. Thats because uou aren't cleaning it correctly
Good way to Ruin windows, and professionals like me make a lot $$$$ restoring them.
Thank you.
Two questions.
Rejuvenate - After spraying, do I need to use a squeegee. Also what's the drying time because I read below that you can spray the screens. I would like to be able to clean the screens as well without popping them out.
Pressure washer - Can this also be used to clean screens without taking them off? And will it clean both window and screen if both are still on the window?
Hi Shere, great questions. Both will clean the screens and the windows so no need to remove. For deep cleaning windows with the pressure washer add a window washing solution to the tank, just make sure it doesn't damage plants since there will be run off. I really like the Rejuvenate for that reason. Dry time depends on the weather, but typically around 5 - 10 minutes. I find after a long winter I need to clean twice, with all the grime and build up. Thanks for watching and if I can answer anything else let me know.
@@KathrynEmeryTV Thank you. 1. Can the rejuvenate be used in a pressure washer. 2. Also is a squeegee necessary to use after the rejuvenate or should we just spray and let it do its thing. Just trying to prevent streaks. I'm hoping it allows me to skip the squeegee and give it that streak free look after spray.
@@shereverewalker3716 no squeegee needed, its magical. You could put the Rejuvenate in there but the beauty of that product is you can just attach to a hose and it has a built in pressure sprayer in the bottle. For pressure washer I would just use some natural window cleaner, Rejuvenate makes one now that's pretty good, it's plant based, not soap based (soap leaves streaks).
@@KathrynEmeryTV why you lie?? You obviously have no clue what you're talking about. Id love to watch you try and clean a real dirty window and screen some time. It be a hoot
No it will not work
You left chunks of stucco on the glass. What is your TDS?
I don't have stucco on my glass, but appreciate your comments and thanks for taking the time to watch.
What about with screens on
Ahhh that’s cool
How do you avoid streaking with your pressure washer doing windows? I always get streaking
The windows I clean with the washer I don't really look through so I don't have a solution for you unfortunately. However have you checked out the Rejuvenate Dual Window Wash House Cleaner -- I've used that and no streaks (actually using this weekend again for summer season -- first clean of the year!)
@@KathrynEmeryTV Thanks. I did try rejuvenate but left streaks. Will call a professional company to wash them.
@@Skippy9673 there is nothing like a professional -- especially for a deep clean taking off those screens and such. Happy summer!
We need a pressure washer so badly. I hate not having clean windows.
You do, girl! They are magical. I think I need to give one away too!
Just like you your built😍
I need a cordless (not gas) pressure washer - love my Subaru but the wife doesn’t like it and refuses to use it...
Wives do rule the world after all, don't we :)
I don't know if you are self conscious of what you look like not ready but you are pretty and there's nothing wrong with cleaning with your hair not done and some comfortable clothes.
Thanks for the compliment, when I actually clean I definitely do. I appreciate you taking the time to share this sentiment!
thanks for the video kathryn your beautiful btw =)
Thanks for watching and saying so :)
She can clean my windows anytime
Love it!!!!!!
Hello. New here. Also make sure that one doesn't blow out the window. LOL
The PSI is high, but not that high LOL! But could you imagine. Thanks for the follow!
Was this a commercial for the window cleaner / pressure washer? Not much in the way of instruction
Hi Petee, My gig is I show the latest products and features, I don't go too deep into the details on how to, more showing off products I find that I like and think will make life at home for people easier. Appreciate you watching.
So nobody gonna talk about how that pressure washer hose just scratched the fuck outta that car? 😳
LOL It is actually pretty soft no scratches
Be careful with a pressure washer on windows. It took a glaze off my windows and made then dull and cloudy.
Thanks for your feedback. I haven't heard of glaze on the outside of windows? What area of the country do you live in? The pressure washer is a good option for some, but really love the Rejuvenate Window Wash you just attach to the hose. Appreciate you watching and commenting!
Your haze is because your water is so hard. You let the water dry and it’s dried into the glass
Jeld Wen windows said to NOT pressure wash windows. It can cause the seal to fail. Just an FYI. Great video.
I've been an exterior cleaning specialist for over 20 years and this video must be the worst "expert" video I have ever seen.
Not once does this video show the windows, I guarantee her so called "sparkling clean process" will leave water marks every time, not to mention the damage to your window seals.
Yes a professional window cleaner can be expensive, to hire my company will cost a minimum of $150 for a 2 bedroom single story home, but if you're willing to put the time (approx 2-6 hours for an inexperienced window cleaner depending on home size) you can purchase fairly decent equipment from your local home improvement store.
In the industry we like to say you always want to be nose to glass, but for a small investment and a lot of practice you can clean your windows for a small investment of approximately $200.
Head to your local home improvement store purchase the following
A T-bar mop
A squeegee
A telescoping extension bar
A pack of terry towels
You should find these items either in the window cleaning section or the general cleaning section (depends on the store you frequent)
Alternatively contact a professional they'll truly get get your windows clean, prolong the life of your windows and give you true value for money, please regardless of if you choose professional or to it yourself never ever use any of these so called miracle cleaning materials or a power washer it will cost you more in the long run.
Any homeowner or someone wanting to get a start in the industry feel free to contact me to get valuable information and in the DFW area please feel free to discuss appointment availability
Paul thanks for your thoughtful comments and advice; even instead of terry towels I would suggest microfiber works wonders on windows.
Rejuvenate is a great product that I use on my windows and inexpensive, but your list above is also great and I agree, a professional when you need a solid clean is the way to go.
Hi Paul, how can I contact you in the DFW area?
As a professional window cleaner...I promise you this is ineffective. This will only work if the windows are already clean, which defeats the purpose obviously. Moreover this will 100% leave a film from whatever that chemical is that will attract every piece of dust and pollen that blows by. But, I always get business after people mess up their windows with crap like this so rock on 🤘
Appreciate you sharing your feedback. I agree if the windows are really dirty hiring a professional is the only way to go!
Bingo Zombie :) plus another benefit of pressure washers use on windows that they are beautifully blow out window seals so they will leak after the genius DIY job plus destroy fly screens :) i wonder if people think about why professional window cleaners NEVER EVER use pressure washer for window cleaning ? but hey people will try and believe anything just to try to save some money and then pay for the consequences .
This is @amdrywallfinishandpaintllc from Instagram and I wish I can win the EGO power+CFM 650 Blower ... I'll be watching your RUclips videos 😊
This is absolutely horrid advice. One you will break the seal of the windows using high pressure directly on a window. Almost all of these "spray on" solutions almost always leave behind hard water spots especially if you live in area with a high TDS count.
NEVER use any of the following products on the glass (they may damage the glass surface or insulating seal):
Petroleum-based cleaners
Caustic chemicals
Razor blades, putty knives or abrasive pads
High-pressure water hoses
Directly from Millgard Windows website.
Thanks for your comments Jason. Rejuvenate is not a petroleum based product and I’ve found it pretty effective in keeping my windows clean. I do agree if windows are dirty nothing can beat a professional clean.
Excellent acting! 😂
Glad to entertain! Especially me falling off the ladder LOL!!
I clicked this for the THICCNESS. WOW 😍
Do not do this! You will not be happy...
Have you tried either product Kim? The Rejuvenate is a great item for people who cannot afford to hire a professional to clean their windows and a solid solution.
I don't own a house so I don't have to worry about it. But if I had I'd just hired local window cleaner for like $10-$12 per window while I sit in the garage having na cold One or taking the wifey to brunch.
Hahaha never ever! Hire a pro window cleaner, you'll get actual results. Old school window cleaner here telling you this is like cleaning your headlights with bugspray. Maybe paint your house with spray paint or put ketchup in your gas tank.
Not quite the same thing, there is actual window cleaner you put in the pressure washer and it’s what manufacturers recommend when they make it. I understand your perspective of course. There is no substitute for getting windows done professionally by hand, it’s the best. Some people can’t afford that and this as well as the Rejuvenate on a hose is another DIY option for them, especially those afraid to get on a ladder.
girl bye
Thanks for stopping by :)
no. just no. hire a professional window cleaner. this is cringe
I understand where you are coming from, if the windows are very dirty a professional is the way to go for certain!
