    Fabi throwing the chessable sign around for Danny to find him while driving his rivian truck was probably the second best PR for the course.

    I bought this, it's good stuff! It's the first chessable course I've gotten so I can't compare it to others, but Fabi does a really good job explaining the intentions behind black and white's moves, which I think makes it much easier to remember the order of moves. He also maintains a good conversational tone with some relevant asides. Also he occasionally pauses to drink a variety of colored drinks, which I assume is Chess Juice?

      I have used Fabi's work before learning the Ruy Lopez from white and I can atest he is probably the best GM out there to learn an opening from. He goes into detail in a way you can't really forget. I don't revisit his work that often but I still play Ruy Lopes with high accuracy from the opening. He has good stuff and I'm also definitely buying this course

      Do not be fooled by consumerist latecapitalist society ideology. The man and the abstractions are the only thing which matter! While I would love a expensive chessboard in the video in order for it to resemble Caruana's topnothcess, the fact still remains: to desire expensive stuff and label it and only it the correct stuff is not healthy. Chess came before this consumerist society ever was and it will still live long after this consumerist ideology is dead.

    Seems like a great course but 160 EUR for video is way to costly...

    • @tommyh5540
      @tommyh5540 Год назад +1

      It is relatively cheap considering other courses on Chessable that cost as much for a lot less content (van Foreest LTR Tarrasch for example but there are others), and also if you consider who is presenting the material. The total video runtime is close to 44 hours and the course covers some 960+ lines. The content is quite insane for that price.

    • @TrueWodzu
      @TrueWodzu Год назад

      @@tommyh5540 I disagree, not to take anything from Fabi or other people who make this courses because they are great and probably the price is not even up to them to decide. However, the cost of making such course is quite cheap in comparison for example to a decent computer game for which you will 70$ and the cost of making it is often hundreds of millions of dollars. Other comparisons can be make, to a book or movie. Usually in my country I will pay 20$-40$ for a book that an author spent god knows how much time writing it.
