And people say “mom this” “mom that” like they’re more important than dads! My daughter’s dad left halfway through my pregnancy and she’s 19 this year but I still know there are good dads(with and without the mom)out there too!
This hit home. Been raising my son since he was 3 MONTHS old n my mom n oldest daughter are like his mom. He's 5 now n by God grace I'm doing a great job as a single dad to him n his 1# yr old sister. Thank God for my mom's help.

When Frank's mom said, "How can you be so heartless?" to Dee, it makes sense. She doesn't really care about the baby so she doesn't have a very good spirited heart. Her inside is bad and with girls, the inside counts way more than the outside. Kind of like how good friends are way better than a bunch more friends that aren't real. 2 good friends is way better than 100 friends that aren't really friends and are rather considered "fake friends".
Being a parent is not enough to give new life, but you have to love, care and be there for your children as they grow. However, not everyone can take on such a role, as Frank told his mother "every child deserves to have a loving parent, but not everyone deserves to have a child," his mother had to learn the hard way to understand, I feel bad for his child that he will grow up without a mother, but this is better than having one who doesn't care about her child at all, at least she has a grandmother who will help take care of the child while he grows up with his father. 😌

That's because she is young! I definitely don't think she's in her 20s but she's probably maybe around 35 and frank is probably 20 and Dee is probably a 15 year old high school dropout or at least she looks and acts very dumb and immature like it and I can't believe she left her baby like that! So evil! Also she gave vodka to her own baby and she looks like she is very underage to be drinking because the legal age is 21 and she looks way too young! That's the worst part about very young teenagers having kids these days! Especially compared to back in the 60s and 70s when 18 was the normal age to get married and have kids because way back then teenagers were always so much more mature especially compared to now so that's why it's always better to wait until about 25 to get married and have kids!

It is also super important to evaluate a person before having children with them. Birth control is in most areas easily available. So before having unprotected sex with a person, it is a MUST to know who they are. A child is a massive responsability and part of your responsability is to do all you can to get a responsible partner. Of course people can change. You can have the most loving partner and due to some incident they become an alocoholic and loose control over life (for examlpe). I however feel in many cases that the disaster could have been prevented if red flags wouldn't have been overlooked.
