  • My 2015 Suzuki GSX-S750 is at its 7500 mile service interval.
    DO NOT USE THE OIL IN THIS VIDEO! I now use Amsoil 10w 40 full synthetic. Suzuki Ecstar full syn is good too.
    If you've never changed your oil before, maybe this will help give you a head-start. Taking care of your motorcycle is almost as satisfying as riding it.... but then again, maybe that's just me.
    Oil Capacity with oil and oil filter change: 3.6 liters or 3.8 quarts.

    Thanks for posting. I’d have had trouble with the little clips if you hadn’t. First I wouldn’t have known what was holding it up after taking out the bolts, second I wouldn’t have known how to get them off. Of course they are easy but only once you’ve seen, as they’re not a normal fastener.

    Hello! What is the feeling of power and acceleration with regard to the motorcycles you have ever driven? 114 HP seems not to be enough on paper, but when i look videos on RUclips it seems strong machine...I intend to buy two of GSX-S 750 another year for me and my girlfriend....no test vehicles are available here so i can not try it...thanks a lot!

    • @sstressfl
      @sstressfl  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Marko! The bike only weighs around 460 lbs so 100+ HP makes it very fast. It's capable of completing the 1/4 mile in 11 seconds. When I first got the bike I could not get myself to reach redline in 1st gear. The sense of acceleration was too much and I ended up short shifting. I'm used to it now, but it's still a terror whenever I let it roll to redline. It's more bike than necessary on the street. But I think it's the perfect amount to provide effortless low end and mid range power with the occasional blast.There are more powerful bikes, but I don't think there is such a thing as a more fun bike. Handling is amazing yet the bike is comfortable enough to ride longer distances. IMO, it's got to be one of the best balanced bikes on the market today.

      @@sstressfl Just one other, maybe idiotic, question. Does it really matter what oil you use? Trying to figure out if there are any signs you are looking for when deciding if a brand is better than the other.

    • @sstressfl
      @sstressfl  3 года назад +1

      @@Screamer20 Growing up my dad always said "as long as it meets the requirements it'll work!".... but all of that changed when I bought this bike. I bought oil that met the manufacturer specs (the maxima stuff in this video) and it evaporated under the load and heat from this engine. I lost almost a full quart in 700 miles. Oil-evaporation was a new concept to me. It happens when the oil breaks down under severe friction and heat. So I did some research. Amsoil had the highest friction and heat tolerance of any oil on the market. So that's what I bought. And I don't lose a drop of oil between oil changes :)

    • @Screamer20
      @Screamer20 3 года назад

      @@sstressfl Good deal! Thank you! It's a bit hard for me to get a hold of Amsoil here in Romania as it isn't sold here. We have only Motul, Belray, IPONE and some other brands. I'll look in the datasheets for the friction and heat tolerance of the available oils type I can buy here. Again, thank you for your patience in responding to my questions.
